The practice combines pressure to Sen (energy) lines, sequencing of supported, lying yoga postures with gentle twisting, deep muscular stretching, and meditation.

Services
Join Shawn, Yoga Therapist, for the return of the popular Back Care class. In this workshop, we will explore anatomy foundations of core strength and the important role of the ililopsoas muscle in learning to care for your back. You will learn postural alignment, breath awareness, and gentle yoga modalities to assist with managing pain.
We welcome and support actors, directors, producers, and film makers to continue serving our community with staged readings, classes and workshops. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Society for Humanitarian Archaeological Research and Exploration (S.H.A.R.E.), a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses archaeology as a tool to promote peace and dialogue in Israel/Palestine.

I had yoga therapy at South Perry Yoga for lower back and hip pain. Shawn was absolutely wonderful. She quickly and accurately identified my challenge areas and taught yoga poses, movements, and posture alignments with perfect cuing. Everything she showed me was spot-on, and it worked. I especially appreciated the time and care she took to make sure I had clear and detailed instructions and resources to continue the practices at home.

I took my first class yesterday with Nina. The space is spacious and centering, the location is charming and inviting and the teacher was well educated and inspiring. I feel like I have found the studio for me <3
