Saint Helena Winery
Founded in the year 2000, Saint Helena Winery was created to promote estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon that appeals to curious and cultured wine buyers looking beyond big wine brands for new discoveries. Our wines are for people who collect and enjoy rare items for personal indulgence. Winemakers Aaron Pott and Lindsey Wallingford guide the creation of three estate Cabernet Sauvignons, a Chardonnay and a few very small lots of estate specialties.

When you open a bottle of our wine, you are experiencing a wine that reflects the craft of our small-but-stellar team of farmers and winemakers and our unique place in Napa Valley. Our wines are meticulously crafted with knowledge and respect. Whether you are dipping into your allocation of Sympa Reserve or the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, you are experiencing a wine few will ever know.
Services
Our small lots of wines are meticulously crafted with knowledge and respect by winemakers Lindsey Wallingford & Aaron Pott. Our farming and winemaking team is dedicated to creating wines that reflect our special place in Napa Valley. We invite you to invest today in a wine from one of the hidden gems of Napa Valley that will delight you and your guests for years to come.
With the limited production of our estate winery, the only way to ensure you can acquire our wines is to become a Reserve Member. Reserve Members have first (and often exclusive) access to new vintages, small lot wines, special edition formats and library vintages. Throughout the year, our members receive invitations to winery events and have access to the estate.
As harvest approaches, our winemakers Lindsey Wallingford & Aaron Pott walk the vineyard rows and taste fruit to determine which clusters are ready to pick. The selected fruit is harvested by hand in the cool, early morning hours and delivered to the crush pad in small bins. Several eyes and hands sort the destemmed berries so that only perfect fruit enters the cellar.
Our estate includes 13 acres of vineyards that yield a small crop of concentrated and intensely flavored fruit. We grow mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with small parcels dedicated to other Bordeaux varieties, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Our Napa Valley estate contains three variations of Bale Loam soil derived from alluvial fans from the surrounding mountain ranges and the Napa River that borders the estate.
A limited number of visits to Saint Helena Winery are available by prior appointment only. Anyone wishing to visit us is asked to inquire at least 24 hours in advance. Saint Helena Winery offers a relaxing, quiet country atmosphere at the estate house, surrounded by vineyards and framed by both Spring Mountain to the west and Howell Mountain to the east.

We attended a wine tasting scheduled by another winery in the area. The wine was average. We placed an order for three bottles of Rose' for a party of five. We were told by Adriana, that if EACH of us did not purchase three bottles, the tasting fe was $100.00 A PIECE!!!! This was the first time as a VIP at any winery that this happened. Fist and last for this rip off.

Complete rip off. We were met by an angry looking guy called Frank. It only went downhill from there. The 1 star is for the location and because you can't give zero stars. Tasting per Frank costs $75 per person for 3 tastes and he will only tell you that at the end. They will waive the tasting fee if you buy 3 bottles of ok wine per person. The reds start at $90 per bottle. I hated to reluctantly buy the wine rather than waste $150 on 3 small pours. Still not sure I won that one. Was so disappointed with the whole experience. What a rip off

A group of us six people but only four spent time tasting the wines last Friday. What a wonderful experience and great presentation. The wine was yummy and the hostess was just fantastic.

We all recommend to everyone to please stop in for a tasting and enjoy this beautiful small family owned winery. Thank you Heather for educating us about your winery wine and sharing with us.

Gorgeous property and tasting "house" in the heart of the valley.

Was able to taste the 2013 fermenting juice over the course of a week, and it's amazing how the different tanks taste, despite the grapes being harvested from adjacent parcels.

Make an appointment and swing on by. My guess is that the 2013s will be better than the 2012s based on our sampling, so summer 2013 should be primo!

Friendly knowledgeable staff and access to the winemaker, will be sure to put a smile on your face.

Note - you will wish you could wear your swimsuit...

Beautiful winery and such welcoming, friendly people! Had a great tasting experience and tour here recently with a few friends and really enjoyed myself. Would not have heard of this place if it weren't for a friend's recommendation, so glad to have visited :)
I especially enjoyed their Sympa Cab, they also have a great Chardonnay (even good for those of us who are not big Chard fans).
