No matter where you live insects are going to be a part of your life. Insects in and around your home are not a result of how clean you do or don't keep your home. Please be aware that not all insects are "pests". What makes an insect a pest? The definition of a pest is any organism that competes with humans for food or shelter.

Hired Kil-Mor to spray my house in August because they were the only exterminator in the area that didn't demand a one year contract for quarterly treatments. We wanted the job done once and done correctly. Unfortunately, we never really saw our bug problem go away, and after a month it was actually worse. When we called to explain what was happening we were told that our "30 day warranty" had expired and if they came back out, it would be another $115. OR we could sign up for quarterly treatments and save a few bucks! Unbelievable. Here's the lesson: Never hire an exterminator

My landlord uses Kil-Mor for pest control, and they have turned out to be a big disappointment. Definitely call around the area for a better service.
To elaborate: My house had a pretty bad flea problem. This company came and treated with professional-grade flea bombs, saying this would "solve the problem."
More than a month later, the fleas remained. When I tried to have Kil-Mor come for follow-up treatments, they were hard to get a hold of. When they did come to the house, the technician couldn't answer my questions.
Once, a technician came to the house and said he would need

UPDATE: Kil-Mor has offered to come and do the flea treatment as per the "guarantee" the employee offered incorrectly. I commend their taking some action. I am still a bit aggravated with the whole thing, but clear they care about the way they represent themselves, which is a good thing.
I do not write poor reviews. Sadly, today, I must. Kil-Mor Pest Management needs to seriously reconsider the way they operate their business and the way that they educate their contractors/employees on the companies policies. We signed up for the one-year subscription coverage after being told that

Recommended by our real estate agent for pest control... and ever since moving downtown we've seen some pesky critters that I haven't heard from since college apartment era. Ah, city life(?)
We've been meaning to get a termite prevention service going; have one of those historic houses with a basement, so it's a little more prone than the cement-slab last home we were in. Finally got around to signing up with these guys. And since I'm seriously SERIOUSLY spider-adverse (as in: almost caused a car pileup when I knocked a spider off my arm, but couldn't figure out where

When I was buying my house, it was found upon inspection to have a termite issue. In all likelihood, the seller picked Kil-Mor to take care of the termites because they were willing to do spot-treatment rather than the proper full-house treatment. Needless to say, the spot-treatment did not resolve the problem, and they wanted a lot more money to do the full treatment.
Kil-Mor also gave me the run-around about trying to obtain a copy of the termite bond (insurance, transferred to me) on the work they had done for the seller. After hearing multiple times that it was in the mail, they finally
