Services
The wines of Broken Earth are made to accurately portray varietal definition, purity of fruit and balance. The palate must appear "seamless" and where more complex wines are intended, they must allow the layers of complexity to continually emerge as you familiarize yourself with the wine.
Each wine is an honest portrayal of the distinct characteristics of each variety, whether they be tiny parcels of hand selected fruit or larger, more complex blends. We offer our Broken Earth Brand as well as selections from the PULL, and Quadrant Brands. It is quite firm on the palate but the masses of spicy fruit and balancing oak compliment the grip nicely.

Things are heating up in Paso Robles with late summer days, the California Mid State Fair coming to an end and harvest 2021 on the horizon. In honor of the fair and our vineyard's western roots, we're highlighting two country classics - Ancianos and El Pasado in one pack. Our Saddle Pack features one each of Limited Releases 2018 Ancianos and 2017 El Pasado, plus $10 flat rate with code FLAT10.
On the nose, aromas of black currants and cherries, with a tannic mouthfeel finishing with notes of mocha, raspberry and black licorice. Perfect to pair with red meats like filet mignon, sirloin, or other hearty dishes with a savory sauce. The wine's mouth-feel reflects the creamy textures of great Chardonnays and, typical of our winemaker's style, it is balanced with refreshing acidity.

One of the best wine tasting rooms in Paso Robles. Spacious with plenty of seating and friendly service. Red wines are one of the best values in SLO county. Also serves the best pizza in all of Paso Robles. Fresh ingredients, home made sauces and dough. I joined the wine club and plan on returning often for food and wine.

Richard, is a well of knowledge. A Great host with fantastic personality.
We had the best wine tasting experience with him.
The wine is good, selection is vast, and allows everyone to find a good wine to their liking.
Prices are reasonable.
We tried only the pizza out of the food menu and it was very good.
The live music added to the delightful atmosphere.
They created a lively setting indoors and outdoors.
The restrooms were sparkling clean.
Their wine club prices are a good value.
Would definitely stop here again.

This is one of my favorite wineries I belong to. The wine and food is incredible, as well as the service!
My absolute favorite thing about this winery is that they put such care and detail into any bottles I ship to friends. My friends and family are always so excited when they get a bottle, the hand written notes and themed cards are so incredible and shows how amazing their team is!

I arrived at Broken Earth excited to try their wines and especially the pizza! However, I arrived at 5:15pm and the wine concierge said that we were too late to order any food and that we would have to rush our tasting if we even wanted one. Now on their website and the tasting room does not close until 6pm and advertises having food until 6pmβ¦just to let you know. We did not appreciate the βrushβ we received from the staff and although we did not try their wines, solely because we were told a tasting takes longer than 40 minutes, we did not stay and decided to go down the street and enjoy

I didn't realize the location when I booked this place. While it's a beautiful, large space, I wanted more of the typical Paso Robles wine country atmosphere. This was right off the highway in an industrial area. We ordered pizza and garlic bread and that was good. Service was kinda slow considering we were one of only three tables in there. The wines were ok, nothing really stood out.

Broken Earth Winery was our first stop on this adventure to the Paso Robles wine district. Upon entering the tasting room we were in awe of how large of a space they have complete with comfortable seating and an onsite restaurant. We grabbed a seat on one of the many sofas and was greeted by Trudy, our tasting host for the day. Broken Earth has a large selection of wines and the winemaker incorporates the use of many grapes to provide an expansive taste experience. We were introduced to several varietals we had never tasted, educating our taste buds to new wines. Broken Earth wines are easy to

Affordable indoor wine tasting with great services and food. Perfect choice for summer and hot weather. Will come back again
Food: Pizza and cheese plates are worth the price.
Drink: Offer various of sparkling wine. $20 for tasting is a steal. They waive the fee if you purchase a bottle of wine.
Vibe: funny and friendly staffs. Live music on Sunday! Many cute old couples danced on the floor

Good wines, needs more attention on customer service.
Came here on Memorial Day for an ad-hoc wine tasting after stopping for beer nearby. There were 3 or 4 other parties already in the place, not crowded at all because this place is literally giant. We were told to sit anywhere, so we sat near the middle so we could do a relatively quick tasting (not there for food) and go onto the next destination.
Only problem, they only bothered to have one employee... on a weekend. A holiday weekend. Keep in mind the tasting room is huge and has two bars, three seating areas, plus an upstairs VIP

I am a member of several clubs in Paso Robles and this one is by far the worst with regard to customer service. I signed up some friends through their referral program where they promise to give you a $100 gift card with each referral after your referral gets at least three shipments. It had been over a year since I signed them up so I decided to look into where my gift card was back in the beginning of May. I emailed their customer support team and got ghosted initially. This should have been my first red flag. I finally got a reply from Matt Dolman two weeks later stating that one of my referrals

About to leave town and we needed a lunch stop without going up to the hills. Gorgeous, modern place that is obviously laid out for groups large or small. A private "Members Loft" and a place for live entertainment as well. We had our Pooch, so we sat outside on the patio (where they are allowed), which was lounge style with a fire feature.
Server Trudy (T) took very good care of us, knows her wines and it seems everyone who lives/works in Paso. She is definitely a seasoned pro and very funny and engaging too, we loved her. Chef Kelly (Sp?) made us two artisan pizzas which were both

This winery is a gem! We had a fantastic time with our tasting and food entrees. Sydney was so thorough with explaining each wine we tasted. The fermentation time to the aging time. I was so impressed with her knowledge. We drove 4 hours to visit this winery and are satisfied! Ambience was great too! Such a fantastic time.

I was not expecting a flight of bubbles to be so tasty - but there I went and loved them! Since it was lunch time, we ordered several things to share at the table. The beet salad was absolutely divine! Pizza cooked on a wood fire with an amazing thin crust almost melted in your mouth. Cheeses selected from a local cheese monger, and my only complaint is it is so far from home. Whether you taste from the wine or sparkling flights, you are sure to find something you like.

We came on a Friday at 2:30pm with a reservation I made earlier in the week. They have a HUGE space. Patio seating as well as inside seating that felt safe since the doors were wide open. They have food, but we didn't get any as we had early dinner reservations. We were helped by an older gentleman (USC fan) and he was absolutely wonderful. People like him is what makes wine tastings memorable. He even inspired us to take a wine class before our honeymoon next year as he taught us so much in the hour we spent together. All the wine was fantastic. We took a Cab and bottle of Rose home. I definitely

I visited Broken Earth's Tasting Room in April of 2018 and gave a 5-star review. Today I'm torn between a 2-star and a 3-star review. I finally decided on three-star because the pandemic has made doing business difficult for everyone, so I'm cutting all businesses slack.
When I visited in 2018, the Tasting Room was in the vineyards. The room itself was comfortable, warm and inviting, featuring lots of wood, brick and a hearth. Since then, they have moved the Tasting Room. It now sits alongside the highway. Instead of wood and brick, the interior is metal and exposed duct work.

This review is for the new tasting room, right on Ramada Drive (close to Firestone).
This new location is really cool. It has a "snake"/adjustable bar that they can shift into different formats for events, comfy couches and tons of tables, a nice mezzanine level members' lounge, and a mega-fancy pizza oven that will be slinging gourmet pizzas soon. Once food is up & running, they'll also have a cute little gourmet market representing local goods.
Another great addition is that they're implementing a lot of classes & wine education, so it's becoming a bit
