Originally I bi-passed on this studio because of advertising and a deal I found with another local studio, idanz. My experience there was less than stellar. Kids running around, not much supervision, not sure if I ever saw the owner, other parents at the front desk? and I'm not sure what my daughter learned in her short time there.

I found this studio based on a recommendation from a colleague. I am a medical professional and it's very hard during a pandemic to find activities for my children that are indoors and safe. Centre is going above and beyond any other place I looked at. I feel completely safe leaving my child there for dance.
The teachers and office staff have been very professional and answered all of my questions without hesitation. They have made us feel very comfortable. My child is enjoying her class so much that she has asked to take more. I have seen a huge progression in her skills in such a short period

When I arrived I told person at the reception that we came for trial. I was excited to bring my daughter as i had gotten a chance to see the beautiful dancers during Christmas. I was directed to sit in waiting area and instructor will come. It was 15min past the time I headed back to the reception area asked is instructor was still coming. It took reception a while to assist. Class had started 15 min ago. When class got done. Reception or instructor did not show any kindness or options for next classes. That was rude and uninviting. I was disappointed.

I am thrilled I found this studio for my daughter, and I only wish I had found them sooner. We tried a few studios and they either disregarded any concerns I had, had terrible communication, or never had the same teacher teaching from week to week. The office ladies have always responded to me quickly and were very polite. The owner even called me personally to discuss some concerns I had, and was extremely thorough and honest. I have never been to a business that everyone is always so nice, honest and spent so much time answering my questions and helping us make my daughter feel comfortable with

Centre for Dance is a wonderful studio in all regards. The owner, Susan, is hands on. She will solve any issues you may have. In addition, she is extremely organized and runs a very smooth operation. Centre’s administrative staff is very nice and helpful. Centre’s dance instructors are top notch. We just had recital and the choreography was spectacular. This is the BEST place for your child to become the professional dancer they truly want to be! To see the growth in both performance and dance technique over the dance year is amazing! These children also learn discipline and what it takes to be a professional dancer and it shows every time you watch those stage performances. This is the only studio I have ever been too and it is absolutely amazing!! Everyone that works there treats the students like one big family! I love everyone at the studio and I personally think I have grown so much since I started here! It is such an amazing studio in so many ways! The mom's are so helpful when they can help, the directors are super nice and very caring, and all the kids help each other when we can. I am currently on 2 teams and the directors and my team mates all help me and everyone else if we have a quick change or just need to get ready. Everyone is helpful and super caring

My daughter is in the dance company at Centre. Susan, the owner is amazing, and creates a fabulous experience for dancers and parents. We are at the studio 6 days a week and I observe interactions between the staff, instructors, parents, and dancers constantly. Everyone who works there is wonderful and very professional. We’ve been in companies at three Dallas studios. This one is absolutely the best. Highly recommend!!!

This has been the absolute best dance studio for my daughter to flourish, grow, & embrace her passion and love for dance! The studio has been nothing but a warm, loving, & comfortable environment for her and the other dancers. Susan Armijo and her staff of many qualified dance instructors love all the dancers and have always treated everyone fairly! We have been here for 7 years and are so glad we found this studio when we moved to Dallas. I would HIGHLY recommend this studio!

We honestly could not have asked for a better dance studio for both of my kids! My daughter has been going to this studio for the past 3 years and started out with one class and now taking 4 dance classes here. The instructors are amazing, they are very encouraging and patient. The owner and admin/office staff are very helpful and open to any questions or suggestions. Not only are the teachers here great but so are the other students and parents. Parents and students genuinely encourage one another to do their best. There's a good number of kids taking classes here which has made my daughter

I'm so disturbed right now. I was at my daughter's recital with my infant and was threatened by the owner Susan Armijo to call security on me because Camille the director made a complaint about a disagreement.
My daughter was in the dressing room with my son (who's 5 months old). I was meeting her in the dressing room to help her prepare for her next show. I asked the staff was it ok if I went in a little early to get her 9 of 11 costumes. I breastfeed so i was trying to get my baby together and my daughter ready for her show. (My son also wasn't the only infant down there

This studio is amazing and quickly became my home studio! The staff is always so kind and helpful. They offer such a variety of training styles for all ages at reasonable prices! Being a mom, my favorite is "Mom's with Moves" on Wednesday's and Friday's! Such a fun and welcoming atmosphere! Come check it out, you will not be disappointed!!!!

I had my daughter here for about 3 months and they could not get it together. One day there was no instructor, another day she was in the wrong class, they could not get it together, and they did not seem to care whether she was there or not. So we finally gave up. One review says that the owners care, I could not ever decipher who the owners were. The person sitting behind the desk was not knowledgeable, and did not try to be. Really bad customer service.
My daughter was truly disappointed and I wasted 300.00.

I actually use to come to this studio back in the days of Dallas Desperados Dancers prep classes. I'm back finally again after auditioning and making M.O.M. Crew! I have also brought my 9 year old in for Hip Hop with Camille, among other opportunities that have opened up for us both. Absolutely a game changer when it comes to classes in variety and just the ambiance of dance and all skill levels. Some classes did seem pricey along with registration fee. However, from witnessing my daughters growth and even how I'm brushing up again on my dance skills, I think it's worth it.

I don't even know where to begin. CFD has been the most amazing addition to our lives! My daughter was struggling in school not only with her academics, but also her behavior. She tried a summer hip hop class with Ms. Geena and fell in love with dance, Geena, and the studio. She was asked to join one of their junior performing teams at the end of the summer and LOVED every minute of her time on that team! AND her behavior issues at school melted away! It's hard to believe that was 4 years ago. She was diagnosed with Dyslexia and mild ADHD, and has been getting tutoring to help

I haven't been impressed with the professionalism of this dance studio. We pay for a full month of Saturday classes each month, but almost every month one week is canceled with no opportunity to make it up if you are a working parent and can't go back during the week. There's been no offer to reimburse for tuition when classes are canceled. Communication from the studio is spotty or last minute and our teacher is late to class most weeks. My child enjoys the class which is why we have stuck with it, but we will be finding another dance studio in the fall.

I enrolled my daughter into Summer classes at Centre for Dance and she love it! So much so, that she's been enrolled for the Fall/Spring classes. Ms. Susan and her staff are very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Centre for Dance for children. However, I 'm sure the adult classes are just as great!

Centre for Dance offers a variety of dance classes that you just can't find at many dance studios in the Dallas Area. I specifically wanted to attend a drill team/kick class and that has been very difficult to find. I recently started attending Heather's class on Monday nights and its AMAZING. She does a great job of splitting the hour and a half class up into flexibility training, technique building, core strengthening, cardio exercise and actual kick execution. I've also attended Ashley's Pro League Prep class and found those to be very helpful, especially when learning "
