History: People around Dry Creek Valley know our vineyard as "The Home Ranch." Michele "Mike" Teldeschi and his wife, Lucille Del Carlo Teldeschi, bought the ranch in 1947, but their connection to Dry Creek Valley goes back much further. In 1929, 13-year-old Michele came to the United States from his hillside home in Casabaciana, near Lucca, Italy.

At the time, Michele's father and grandfather were both working in the Northern California wine industry. Michele's dad became an American citizen as soon as he could, and saved enough money to send for his family. In 1938, Michele met Lucille Del Carlo at a Fourth of July picnic. Lucille was born on her family's grape ranch in West Dry Creek, where her parents, Albert and Gemma Del Carlo, operated a bonded winery.

An inviting aromatic blend of dark cherry and currant is swirled with notes of mocha-laced oak and just a hint of cigar box. The easy entry quickly reveals layers of cherry-black, tart and Rainer-along with red currant, spicy cedar, and traces of caramel, creamy coffee, and eucalyptus. The luscious flavors, framed by gentle oak and supple tannins, linger in the finish.

Intense aromatics allude to the wine's depth, offering layers of dark fruit, spices and minerality. The voluptuous mouthfeel reveals perfectly ripened blackberry and dark cherry mingling with a creamy chocolate and mineral essence that appears near the finish. Fresh and lively, this well balanced Petite's richness and juicy fruit qualities reflect the ideal 2012 growing season.
Classic Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel aromas fill the glass with fresh picked black raspberry laced with spicy pepper. The smooth entry releases a burst of juicy mixed berries-blackberry, boysenberry and cherry-with notes of mocha, cocoa and baking spices joining mid-palate. Traces of black pepper are woven into the background along with a gentle oak and tannic structure.
We carefully select the blocks that go into our Cabernet, ensuring the grapes are at perfect ripeness to produce this full-bodied, opulent wine. Inviting aromatic notes of dusty cherry and blackberry mingle with subtle hints of forest floor. The round, silky entry quickly reveals luscious tart cherry woven with traces of cedar and eucalyptus.
