With a passion for winemaking that stretches over 38 years, we believe a bottle of wine tells a story. Open the bottle, and you taste the sun the fruit absorbed and the nights it survived. You follow the winery through the rows of the vines, waiting for the optimal moment to pick. You sense the shiver the farm workers have as they delicately hand pick

We dreamed of owning a vineyard and making wine since we first met in 1982. It took us over a decade before we'd plant our first vine, and another six years before we'd find this gorgeous vineyard in Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley. Here's a view from our cottage on Amista's estate Morningsong Vineyards.

Out of all of the Wilson family wineries, I'd have to say that Pezzi King Vineyards ranks as my least favorite one.

In 1929, 13-year-old Michele came to the United States from his hillside home in Casabaciana, near Lucca, Italy.
