Services
There are times your pet will need surgery, either routine or more advanced. Find comfort in knowing that our doctors have the experience necessary to get your pet on the road to recovery. We perform surgeries on a daily basis and are up on all the newest technologies that help keep your pet healthy.
Unfortunately, our pets cannot talk to us and let us know what is wrong when they aren't feeling well. Diagnostic screening is extremely important when trying to find an appropriate treatment plan for your pet's specific needs. Our in-house laboratory allows us the opportunity to run comprehensive blood profiles, which screen liver and kidney values, blood cell counts, and much more.
Your pet's dental health is extremely important! Veterinary dental care is about more than just preventing "doggy breath" - regular dental care can help prevent serious diseases and infections. Routine dental cleanings are a vital part of your pet's preventive health care plan. Plaque and tartar build-up on your pet's teeth can lead to gingivitis.
We treat large animals, including horses, cattle, pigs, sheep and goats providing both preventative care and farm calls for sick or injured animals as needed. It takes special skill and expertise to treat large animal patients, and our medical team is equipped to treat them with humane care and safety so that the optimal outcome is achieved.
Our staff is dedicated to providing the best veterinary medical care to our patients and the best counsel and service to their owners. Our 128+ combined years of veterinary practice experience help us accomplish this goal. We feel it is our responsibility as a professional veterinary staff to stay up to date on our veterinary education and provide state of the art diagnostic equipment and treatment facilities.

I absolutely love the staff and Dwight, I have been taking my furbabies for many years and would never go anywhere else. They truly care about your animals and they care about you as well. They have watched me go through some tough times when I loss my babies and shown me so much care and love. I couldn't ask for a better vet.Waterloo animal hospital you all rock!;

We decided to take our cat who had been suffering, for a second opinion to Waterloo Animal Hospital after hearing good things. Although it was not the outcome we wanted, our beautiful cat had to be euthanized, we are still so grateful for the honesty and care that was given. We love our cats more than anything and the fact that they took the time to make us feel comfortable, didn’t charge us exorbitantly, and cared was just the most incredible thing. We have decided to transition from our previous vet who prolonged things and charged us exponentially.
Thank you so much Dr. Stephanie Morgan and
