Dr. Paulos retired from private practice, and teaching, at the end of 2020 to move to Arizona. After six months of retirement, he found he missed dentistry too much to be fully retired. This office is incredible. A trip to the dentist’s office is not usually an event to be excited for, but the atmosphere of the place and the staff truly make the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. The staff is kind, personable, compassionate, and above all prioritize professional care. Routine cleanings and check-ups are quick but thorough and the entire process from check-in to checkout went smoothly. Overall, great experience at this site!

For the last 10 years I have seen a dentist referred to me by the Mayo in conjunction with some medical treatment there. That dentist is retiring so I wanted to find someone I felt would do as good a job. While I was skeptical I would achieve that I have been quite happily surprised with the level of professionalism and care exhibited by Dr. Sloan. I broke a tooth in December so my first experience with him was a project. Dr. Sloan is very compassionate and goes to great length to make sure you as the patient are comfortable and understand completely the plan of action. We had a slight hiccup and

My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed with the professionalism in this office on our first visit. The staff is knowledgeable and ready to help you. Even before you step in the front door, the receptionist is there for you. The hygienist, Tinka Rosas, did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I was impressed by Dr. Sloan's knowledge and he had no pushy attitude; did not make you feel like he wanted to make $1000000 off of you. I would be more than proud to recommend this dentist office to anyone looking for a good dentist.

I am a retired Dentist and I have been coming to Cave Creek Family Dentistry for more than 2 years. Dr. Andrew Sloan is an exceptionally talented dentist with a very polite bed side manners. No selling pressure for any cosmetic services. Very honest and reliable office with a great front desk. The hygienists are very friendly and do an excellent job. This place is awesome! Dr. Sloan is very skilled and pleasant. I've been to several dentists in Scottsdale and the quality of his work is far above the rest. A bonus is that there is no pressure to get a bunch of cosmetic work done. Another major bonus is the insurance/billing/payment has been really easy, with NO SURPRISE/HIDDEN COSTS that many other dentists love to add. Also, scheduling appointments has been great. Highly recommend!

I felt like I was in the most Zen dentist office ever. The waterfall was so soothing, Dr Sloan said dentistry should be painless (he was right and fixed my cracked tooth perfectly), April was an informative, thorough and amazing hygienist, and everyone from the front desk to the other hygienist were behind friendly. Best dentist I have ever been to hands down.
