My name is Andy Montgomery, and I am the Owner/Managing Partner of Big Tex Moving, LLC. The beautiful woman in the photo (taken the day before our wedding) is my wife, Magdalene. Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, I've worked with several moving companies since graduating from the University of Kentucky in 2010 with my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.

DO NOT HIRE!!!! Absolute disaster!
We moved from Texas to Tennessee recently and had the worst experience with this company!
They went 2 1/2 hours over the allotted time that they were originally quoted me, they took their time, were talking on their cells phones and the bill was almost triple from what was originally quoted! On top of that, they kept telling me that they wrap everything, have done hundreds of packing trailers .....BUT, when we got to our destination it appeared that everything was not only thrown in there but expensive TVs and furniture were smashed and broken - see pics.

I hate to do this, as the movers themselves were very nice, but I am pretty frustrated with this company. The actual movers were two young men who were friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. Things went along in a timely fashion, and we were initially pretty pleased. Then, I noticed a very large scratch (indented into the wood) of our side table as well as a smaller scratch (also indented into the wood) on our coffee table. Both pieces were unfortunately very expensive, and the scratches are quite noticeable.

Hayden and Richard did an awesome job in taking care of moving all my earthly treasures from Frisco to Dallas! They were so nice and accommodating, and even made a second stop for me to pick up appliances I had at another location. These guys were friendly, fast, and careful with all my belongings. Their pricing is very competitive, as well. Thanks y'all for a great moving experience! This moving service was recommended to me by a friend, and I would also highly recommend Big Tex Moving to anyone else.

Our moving day started with the arrival of two very strapping lads-- on time-- at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 1st.
The two were professional and polite. They worked quickly and hard, despite the Texas heat. They were very careful with my fragile medical equipment.
The move was done within the quoted window. Overall extremely happy with the move and I will tell my friends and family to use Big Tex for their upcoming moves.

This was the best moving experience I have ever had. Friendly, professional, clean cut and worked extremely hard. Only one mover showed up but he worked harder than ever and the owner came to help him. They were focused and finished in no time. Rates were more than reasonable and the undercharged me because only one showed up for the first hour. Best job ever, seriously. Thank you Andy and Jay! I would recommend to anyone!
