Magnolia Ridge Child Care Center has been providing professional child care in Glen Allen for children 6 weeks to 12 years since 1998. Highly recommend! My LO has been at Country Day Care since 3 months, - she is now 2 years old. Patti and her team made me feel so comfortable leaving her as a first time mom - especially Crystal, sending pics and updates when I needed them! She is excited to get there in the morning and has learned so much - I'm blown away everyday at things she has learned there. They are also extremely flexible with changing schedules. The only con would be the hours - they are open 7:30 to 5:30PM. Nothing but love for Country Day Care!

My son has gone to this day care from around age 2-5. I’ve only had very minor issues. I would probably rate them a 4.7. They are very flexible with schedules, have good rates for the quality. My son really liked his teachers and he made a lot of friends there. If anyone got injured it was reported to the parent of the child. And if a student there was sick, they post it on the door for all the parents to be aware. My son learned potty training there as well as days of the month, colors, letters, etc. I would recommend them.

I thought this place was amazing at first, and understood that they had to open later due to Covid. However, when we signed a contract with them, we were told they would open back up at 0630 for daycare in mid July (I'm a nurse, my husband works for dominion). Whenever I inquired about them opening before 0730 (making us late for work every week), I was answered with "I haven't heard anything" from employees.
My son was also sent home for having a temperature of 99.4, which is not medically a fever... from a forehead thermometer reading.

Ms Pattie and the entire staff at Country Daycare are amazing. My son loves being there and being a part of the school agers group.They have activities in the summer and keep them entertained. During after school sessions they get help with their homework too. Opens early and so helpful for working parents. Very wonderful place.

Love! Love! Love! The teachers and staff are amazing here. Most afternoons my son doesn't want to leave because he's having such a wonderful time. The director, assistant and teachers treat us like family and truly care about the kids. We feel incredibly blessed to have found Country Day Care and constantly recommend it to other parents.

My child has been attending Country Day Care for 2 1/2 years. They have given me the confidence of starting each day knowing my child is safe, well-cared for and most of all loved. The two's class is amazing, I’m really impressed by what my child has learned at 'school' and his ever expanding vocabulary. He’s formed wonderful friendships with the students in his classroom and throughout the school. The classrooms themselves are a good size and have a nice selection of toys, there is also a large playground and a movie room for rainy days. The staff plans fun activities all year long like petting

My daughter has loved Country Day Care. Her teachers are attentive, creative, and loving. The environment is consistently nurturing and the children are happy. Being a new mom, I especially appreciate the Director, Ms. Patti and Assistant Director, Ms. Annie for being so approachable and professional. They are available to answer any question, any time of day, and they will follow through diligently with any concern that my arise. 5 stars for Country Day Care!

My children who have attended Country Day Care for several years. They absolutely love it there and the staff. The staff are very attentive, caring, and hands on. My children are always excited to go to "school". I would recommend Country Day Care to any of my family or friends looking for childcare. The staff go above and beyond, especially during the school year. They make sure the children do their homework, and give them extra help when needed. It is so nice to not have to worry about homework after picking my children up!

I love the experience I've had with Country Day Care so far!! My son is 3 years old and can definitely be a handful, considering he is autistic. I have never seen so much love and compassion from teachers or staff members towards my son, especially the Director, Patti's, philosophy on child care. Annie and Mr. Charles always greet him with a warm hug and a hello... And they are very accommodating when it comes to his care! I definitely recommend this daycare to anyone!

My child has been attending Country Daycare since January of 2008 and I've never had an issue with center nor with the teachers. The center has been doing pretty good and has been improving throughout the years. My child loves it there, he's came so far since he's started and is amazingly surprising me everyday with all his wonderful stories on making new friends to how nice and kind his teachers are.
