I had a wonderful experience with TriStar!
I just finished up with a refinance and purchase with them, both transactions went very smoothly. I was surprised they were able to close on time with my purchase contract, as it had a 30 day closing date. I had issues shopping around with other lenders since they were taking too long to respond/get anything done due to the current pandemic.
Everyone under Seth's team were professional and helpful the whole time (Misa, Nam and Marcos). They always found answers for my questions and I have unbeatable rates!! I highly recommend working with them

If I could give them negative stars I would .
1) They showed that they payed off my old load with a higher amount than they actually did thus i had to chase them for a refund of a large amount for the next 2 weeks.
2) There was no one person who knew about the loan, thus I got a new story every time I contacted them
3) The has to extended closing without telling us and then made us hurry because of their delays.

There's a raging debate as to which process is more tortuous. Re-fi or home purchase. The choice is to either invest heavily in booze, pre-pay a therapist and divorce attorney and buy a forehead pad for the inevitable head banging....

I contacted Seth for refinancing and i had a pretty good experience with TriStar. I told him my requirements and he came back with the best offer and I didn't have to negotiate for it. I referred few of my other friends and they also got the good rates. One thing which I think can be improved is proactive communication for each stage of the loan during the process.
My loan was closed on time without any extra fee or issues.

We had a very horrible experience with Tristar, most specifically with Seth C. Raddue. As a former employee of Bank of America Home Loans, I was well versed in the requirements, timelines, and laws surrounding the mortgage refi process. From the start Tristar would miss deadlines, such as sending out disclosures in the required timeline, failed to lock our rate when requested, cancelled our loan, then continued to send us emails to complete various tasks even months after it was cancelled. For example, our loan was cancelled on 3/30/20, and on 4/13/20 we received an email to sign some documents

TriStar gave us the best rate of any place I checked. They responded extremely quickly, even when I had urgent requests at atypical times. We were able to get estimates for multiple properties within hours of requesting them, and had multiple points of contact within the company in case one wasn't available. Even our listing agent was surprised with the rate we were able to get from TriStar, and we were able to close a week early. Highly recommended!

Seth and his team by far exceeded any expectations I had in a lender. I closed two loans with TriStar Finance. First, I closed a conventional loan with the refinance of my existing home. He and his team worked extremely hard and we closed in just over two weeks!

I had received mortgage quotes from several different banks before my friend recommended that call Seth at Tristar Finance. I couldn't be happier at the result. My monthly payment ended up being over $300 cheaper than every other place I called. Alisha, who we dealt with mostly, worked hard to make sure that everything closed on time and without any hiccups. Seth and his team at TriStar Finance are great! Last year he was able to get me into my first home. He was quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. The process with TriStar Finance was quick and easy. I have heard for years that buying a home is one of the most stressful experiences anyone can possibly go through. My home buying process with Seth was nothing but the opposite of that. I am currently having TriStar refinance my home because the first experience I had was so good.

I bought a home in May. I used the mortgage broker my real-estate agent recommended and that I had used before with him to make sure I got my financing in place which in this market is crucial. My rate seemed high but wanted to be able to put in an offer. After 6 months you can refinance so I checked into it. I found Tristar on Bankrate/Zillow and since they had the best rate and were local, I gave them a shot.
I've refinanced and secured home equity loans in the past. I found Tristar Finance to be the best experience I've had so far. I lowered my rate over a half a point and the service

I Do not recommend using this company or the Loan officer Seth at all.
Sent Seth an online loan application as instructed.
Sent him over 6 months of documentation from several accounts per his instructions and check list.
Never, NOT ONCE, did he return an email, phone call or make any attempt to follow through, follow up, or give any notice of anything at all.
Sure is a lot of private information to provide to someone without getting any sort of response.
