Services
All of our Yoga classes at SoulShine emphasize breath, setting a foundation and alignment of the body that increases the flow of life force energy. We strive to create a nurturing, safe and supportive environment where students can both have fun and move forward in their Yoga practice. A slower paced class that uses the support of the wall and other props to help build strength, stability and flexibility.
The Nia White Belt Training presents a body-centered approach to health, wellness and fitness. If you have a desire to share Nia in a professional capacity, the White Belt Training is your entryway into teaching. If you choose to pursue the path of personal enrichment, this training is a starting point to become a master student.

Blue Belt, the second level of Nia education, explores how to create healthy relationships through body-centered communication. This intensive introduces the next set of 13 Nia principles, which focus on the 4 realms of body, mind, emotions and spirit.
While the White Belt curriculum focuses entirely on awareness of physical sensation, Blue Belt applies these skills to explore internal sensations as perceived through - but distinct from - physical sensations in the body.The Joy of Being in Relationship, integrates the sensation of Joy with the awareness that Joy is something outside the self, which we can invite into our physical experience.

When beginning yoga several years ago, I did not know what to expect or how I would fare. But I should not have been concerned. Niki has guided me expertly through all phases of my journey so far. She is an excellent teacher and has become a great friend. She caters her practice to those in the room and accommodates folks at all levels, even within the same session. Her classes continue to be a joy to attend, as well as a challenge, and I look forward to many more!

Whether practicing Nia in the studio or on retreat in Costa Rica, I appreciate the freedom to move mindfully and joyfully. Without exception, I feel better after a Nia class then when I arrived. I experience a greater flow of energy and emotions by practicing Nia; and I'm really excited to deepen my practice in my first white belt intensive in August at SoulShine Studios!

I have had the opportunity to take NIA classes with these amazing ladies over the last 5½ years and they do not disappoint. As they begin their new adventure with SoulShine Studio, they have created a welcoming and safe space to come dance, share in community and feel great in your own skin.
Until I walked into my first class in 2013- I struggled to ever find exercise motivating. That all changed on that Tuesday so long ago. I found something that was fun to do with no judgement. Now I participate in NIA classes as often I can work it
