I am visiting in Durham NC for the Carolina Bowl Youth showcase. I took my 14-year old daughter here today (Dec. 30th) for 1 nail repair.... YES you read correctly- ONE nail repair.
Only to be told "sorry ma'am we are extremely busy and booked". There were 3 white ladies receiving pedicures and one white lady waiting. As you probably guessed my daughter and I are black.
I suppose our green money and cards "magically" do not spend the same as our counterparts at this establishment!

I made an appointment for a regular pedicure and got in pretty quickly that afternoon at 4:30.
I got my toenails done in red and it was a decent pedicure and he did cut down my toenails like I requested.
I didn't get my nails done only toes because of my recent experiences but I may try a manicure next time.

Don’t prioritize sanitary practices. They were using tools between people without cleaning them. I saw nail technicians do this in front of me which makes me doubt how clean other tools were.
My technician also argued with me about nail length. When I communicated how long I wanted them several times she was arguing with me and resistant to making the nails shorter.
Won’t be coming back. I found another place that promises sanitary practices.

Called, they accepted my appt right then which I loved BUT!
I got a half done mani pedi....the pedi was not good. The only touching she did to my feet was tools on my toes and polish...zero massage! My mani the polish started chipping the next day and my nails have all split. Highly upset. I do NOT recommend this waste of money.

Probably the worst nail salon I've been to. The guy was so rough. Hurt me several times when cutting my cuticles and now my nails look worse than before I walked in. He was so distracted and kept telling me to move to a table for my manicure but I couldn't because he only put ONE sandal on me!! I will NEVER come back here. Not a very friendly place either.

This might be the worst dip manicure I've ever gotten. My nails were trimmed/filed unevenly, the sides of the nails (where they curve down) are jagged and on some of them the nail beneath is visible, and the ends of the nail (cuticle side) are already raising in such a way that I doubt they will last an entire week without hair getting caught underneath. I'm incredibly disappointed that I spent money on this manicure.

Besides honoring a special request that I made, Lan helped me pick out the right colors for the look I was going for and my nails looked perfect when she was through. She was also very friendly and conversive, which I enjoyed. I have been in nail salons before where the technicians never say a word to you but will chatter away in their language to the other technicians, and I have never liked that. Lan was a delightful young woman, and she made my experience so much more enjoyable, and I will ask for her in the future.

I got an acrylic gel set here for graduation and Tracy was soo sweet! She paid a lot of attention to the shape and details of my nails and recommended this color nail polish for me (it's her favorite) and I'm in love!! She also has a super cute daughter and we chatted about life, family, work, etc. Be aware that you may not be able to get a nail art design here, especially if it's too complex/ the salon is busy. Overall definitely recommend!

I was very concerned about using a salon so early in the pandemic but the owners have done an excellent job of keeping the customers safe. I had a pedicure and they did an amazing job. The polish is still intact weeks later. I didn't feel the need to interact with Staff so we just got to business and it helped that I selected the service prior to appointment and confirmed via phone so when I arrived, I picked a color and went directly to the chair. Customers are spaced apart- more than 6 feet. No customers allowed in "waiting area". Plexiglass is up to keep everyone safe and

I had the pleasure of visiting Luxury Nail yesterday afternoon for a gel manicure and pedicure. Hei and Rosa were miracle workers! I had to leave by 6 PM to make it to RDU for my flight. They worked on me simultaneously to ensure I was done by 5:55! Quality was not compromised and I still had an amazing foot massage. Thank you!

So I went in without an apt. They were very busy. They asked me to come back in a hour and made an apt. Came back and sat for 30 on the couch and 15 minutes in the chair. The pedicure experience was good. Massage was good. But my pedicure is not lasting. One week later and my French pedicure is chipping. And she didn't wedge cut my toes nails so I feel like I'm getting ingrown nails. I won't be back.

My visit was exceptionally outstanding! It was my first time getting my nails done there. When I walked in I instantly felt welcomed. The waiting area is like a living room area with a comfy couch, they had a nice variety of nail polish selections, it was peaceful and the owners were very friendly. I was offered beverages and candy. My nails were done exactly how I wanted them. I will be back for a pedicure for sure!

My first visit was really great and I loved it. My second visit was horrible! I was getting the SNS dip for the second time. I assumed it was removed like shellac, but he filed it down with the electric barrel nail file. He did not remove the all the color of the original color that was darker than the new color I was getting. I assumed he knew what he was doing and the lighter pink would cover the dark red. Sucks that the reviews are so spotty, because this was such a lovely find! I struggle with finding nail salons that aren't too pricey but still do an expensive-looking job, and this was definitely the place. I didn't catch the name of my nail technician, but she was so kind and did a wonderful job updating my gel manicure! I'm trying to grow my nails out so I can get an almond shape, but I don't like my nails overly-rounded, and my nail tech did a really great job shaping them for an in-between look.
