Dr. Robyn Walter-Mrowiec, a Lake Forest local, is our veterinarian and medical director. She has been practicing in the Chicago area for over 30 years. She graduated from the University of Illinois and has a passion for everything veterinary and family. She shares her life with three children, husband Andy, and a house full of pets.
Our support staff is highly experienced, talented, compassionate and professional. Together they bring an additional 25 years of combined experience to the practice! Some of our support staff's special interests include surgery and anesthesia, complimentary modalities and low stress handling.

The best vet we have ever had. Dr. Walter and all of the staff are so kind, compassionate, and helpful. We have been in a pinch more than once and they have always come to our rescue immediately. I cannot say enough positive things. It is so clear how much Dr. and the staff care about your pets and the communication at this clinic is absolutely phenomenal!

Dr Walter and her entire staff are the best! Despite moving 30 minutes from my home, I couldn’t get this level of exceptional care and compassion anywhere else. I never feel rushed and every question is always answered and problem solved. The prices are fair, the care is wonderful and we are so lucky to have Forest Bluff Animal Hospital caring for our fur babies! Highly recommend!

Dr. Walter has been our dog Luigi’s vet for eight years. Her and her staff are the GREATEST!!
When we rescued Luigi other vets were not able to diagnose his illness but Dr. Walter was able to do so and saved his life. We are so grateful and thankful she is our vet! She is very knowledgeable, caring and explains things very well. She treats you like family (actually better than family 😊). We highly recommend Dr Walter and her staff. Dr. Walter has been the most wonderful vet for my parents' dog, Luigi. He was a rescue and Dr. Walter brought him back from near death, infection, and mange and helped him become a healthy, gorgeous, smart Shih Tzu. Because of Dr. Walter, Luigi brought years of joy to my parents and our whole famity. She even coordinated Luigi's treatment with… another vet while my parents were visiting me here in Arizona. We can't thank Dr. Walter enough for her expertise and kindness. We highly recommend Dr. Walter and her staff at Forest Bluff to anyone looking for a caring vet with great diagnostic skills

Dr. Walter has been our vet for over 25 years. She is always kind and caring not only to our pets but to us! Her staff is just as wonderful as she is. Dr. Walter is very knowledgeable and always goes over and above to take care of our pets. We have never just been another client, she treats us like family. We would never go anywhere else! We LOVE Dr. Walter and her staff!
