Dr. Fitzgerald is an Iowa native who attended the University of Northern Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After coming to Chicago for an internship, Dr. Fitzgerald worked as an emergency doctor for 3 years at a specialty center with another year and dedicated to her passion of neurology.
Dr. Fitzgerald continues to enjoy emergency medicine and surgery all the while being focused on client education and fostering the critical human-animal bond. Did we mention her love of neurology?! Dr. Fitzgerald has an affinity for the outdoors, working out, reading, and spending time with her husband, son, and daughter.

This place is a total rip-off, they overcharged me way too much for my dog medication without giving me an option to buy from the pharmacy. Doctor prescribed antibiotics even knowing that my dog has a neuter surgery. I had to cancel my appointment with the surgery clinic because they can't perform surgeries when dog is on antibiotics. Avoid this place.

We have had 3 pets get their primary care at Lincolnshire. My only complaint in the past had been the small parking lot and difficulty exiting heading east. But their recent parking lot expansion/addition took care of all of that. If you are reading this during Covid times, know that they have excellent procedures in place for that.

Lincolnshire Animal Hospital put my stolen dog down. He was perfectly healthy, adoptable, and also STOLeN from me.
I called them a million times, and they LIED about it.
The only reason I know is because I found the paperwork.

Lincolnshire Animal Hospital entire staff is God’s gift to pets and their owners. My little girl crossed the rainbow bridge 1 1/2 years ago. Im thankful beyond words & forever grateful with all my heart to Dr Julie DiFuccia for the depths of care and love in everything she did and does. She is a Dr with a sincere beautiful heart and soul.

My family and our pets have been patients at LAH continiously since 1990.
We have always been super pleased with the range of services and great bedside manner of all the doctors and staff there.
Today's visit was the type no pet parent ever wants to to go to. However, even as we said goodbye to our cat the compassion and professionalism was on full display.

Dr Emmelot is as nurturing a pet giver as they come. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. He's always been spot on in his diagnoses and goes the extra mile in parent assurances as well. When I was losing my precious Cache three years ago, he was on the phone with me every night for weeks until the end..who does that? You can't buy that kind of devotion.

This Veterinarian Hospital is by far the Best I have ever been to They really put the health of my cats first. They also are taking every precaution during these difficult times.
Even prior to the Coronavirus they were always taking care of my cats first and foremost. I couldn’t give them all the amount of thanks that they deserve. The entire staff is so friendly and making you feel comfortable like your part of the family. Again thank you for the concern and care of my extended Family. You all are wonderful people.

Unfortunately, our 14 year old dog passed away today. We had never been to this vet before but called them to see if they offered cremation services. They do. The lady on the phone was so kind. They made sure a room was ready for us to bring her in. When we got there they brought us to an exam room that had a warm blanket and a box of tissues. The vet came in really quick and was also nice. A bad situation made better because they cared.

We were so impressed with Lincolnshire Animal Hospital, their staff members, and Dr. Barksdale! We adopted two kittens from a shelter and they developed upper respiratory infections over the weekend. LAH was able to squeeze us in even though they had a full schedule that day. We were in and out quickly and with the medicine the kittens needed to get better. The staff was so kind and clearly very passionate about animals!

LIFE COLLECTOR! be aware if you have serious problem with your pets. Ive been coming here 8years for my 2 scnauzers maru and cookie. Here is the story. Maru seemed sick so i brought him in. Pancreatitis, thats what maru had. THATS WHAT THEY TOLD ME. We went thru ultra sound, blood check everything. Bills paid right after. Maru didnt seem too good after treatment so i broght him back. They said they need to look further. So they put maru in iv fluid. For 3 days i brought him to facility 7:30 in the morning and my wife picked him up at 5;00pm for three says because we didnt want him to be alone at

We've moved 3 times in 25 years and have stayed at Lincolnshire Animal Hospital even as i has become progressively farther away. Last Saturday once again confirmed my trust and loyalty to this clinic. One of our dogs was attacked by two other dogs while on walk. I brought him in to see the vet without an appointment. They got us in as soon as they could. Dr. Clarke went over Hank with a fine tooth (really) comb. We were in the examination room for at least 20 minutes. As we left, we were told there would be no charge. Wonderful, caring and sweet. What a great place.

After being disappointed with my current vet's office, i decided it was time to switch things up a bit. Did some research and noticed that everyone seems to truly love this place.
My wee little 4-legged love needed some attention fairly urgently and was pleasantly surprised when they were able to get us in same day! YAY! The girl i spoke to on the phone was very pleasant, she got the basic info and got the appointment setup, and even took down the old vet's info so she could call to get our records sent over.
Once I got there, i was pleasantly greeted and checked in right away. I

This vet place was a Godsend for us! After having some bad experiences with our original vet (you can find my full review of it here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/care-animal-hospital-arlington-heights?hrid=ar0atT-VfBAr-5WjB79q2w), I called a couple of my dog lover friends in the area for a recommendation on a new vet, and BOTH of them told us to come here. They both told me how every vet they've seen at this practice has been wonderful to them and how caring the entire staff is. And boy, they weren't wrong!

If I were rating just based off the doctors, this would be 5 stars. However, the receptionists here are so rude. They're very sweet to your face, but it's definitely that forced, fake "nice".
TWICE, I've been sitting in the waiting area and I've seen them roll their eyes and make fun of the people on the other line (when talking on the phone). The person on the other line must have asked a question that was too "ridiculous" bc after the receptionist hung up the phone, she immediately began talking negatively about the person who had called. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
