THE BROTHER'S RESTAURANT serves you from a building that for more than 100 years has been part of RED BANK's history. Once known as the WEST END HOTEL, it later became a local tavern. In 1957, Bill (Dilly) took over the business with his brother Tony, thus becoming "THE BROTHERS". After the loss of his brother Tony in 1960, Dilly continued the restaurant as a family business.
Millie, his sister, took over the kitchen and her husband Tony Cortese worked as a bartender and all around handyman. In the summer of 2002, Jim Turner and Ralph Ventre were in the dining room at THE BROTHERs' with their wives. Their waitress informed them that the restaurant was for sale. The menu has been upgraded and improved many times!

I just LOVE their thin crust pie! When you think about an iconic Jersey pizza, this is what they're talking about! Also, I am a local teacher and it there were a lot of students from my school there. My school is in a different town...not Red Bank. This shows that neighboring towns are willing to forgo their own town pizzerias in order to get the real deal from Brothers. Yeah. It's THAT GOOD!

Went here for the first time. This is an old time Italian restaurant in a very old building. Decor matches the age of the restaurant. My wife ordered the pasta with clam sauce and I ordered the shrimp francesca. The portions were more than adequate for the price paid. My wife's dish had a least 2 cans of clams over a generous portion of penne pasta. While the dish had good flavor, it was over-burdened with garlic. The shrimp seemed like they were breaded elsewhere and defrosted to make the dish. The sauce had an over abundance of lemon which made the dish very tart. The broccoli side dish was over

I have never been here before so I wasn't sure what to expect. They have a small bar when you enter and just a big room with a bunch of tables and chairs. The atmosphere was very casual, the prices weren't bad and the staff was super nice. I order a mushroom Swiss cheese burger and it was really big. It comes with fries, lettuce, tomato, pickle and a small side of cole slaw. The burger could have been more seasoned but overall it was pretty good. I would love to go back and try their pizza, it looked really delicious.

I’m gonna break this review down in separate aspects of my visit so here it goes:
Loved the atmosphere, had a real homey dive bar vibe. Staff was friendly and polite and despite being a first timer made us feel like we’re regulars.
Appetizer we ordered was fried ravioli, while good it was far from earth shattering and I feel I’ve had many others that were much better than this one. The sauce was also a bit watery for my liking.
Sangria was pretty standard but reasonably priced. It definitely wet the whistle but was far from being labeled the best sangria I’ve ever enjoyed.

Found this place by accident, very pleasant place. 12pm on a Saturday afternoon and completely empty. The bar was full though! Large, spacious, nice atmosphere. Surprisingly alot of different choices on menu.Food was fresh and everything tasted good. Waiter was fast and polite. Seems like a great family restaurant. If I'm ever back in this area again. I'd come back for sure.

This is definitely a tried and true old school Italian restaurant. The service was pretty good considering it was New Year's Day.. our first time here. The chopped antipasto salad was good . I still like when they put the Italian dressing on it in the kitchen and pre mix it for you, but we did it ourselves. We had red wine vinegar and oil on the table. We asked for the bread that came with the dinner but were told they were busy and ran out. I flagged down another waitress who got my ice tea . We also asked about the bread. They had no problem bringing us garlic bread with cheese. It was hot and
