Our school is a mission of Queen of Peace parish in Cloquet, Minnesota, a landmark parish of the Duluth Diocese. A quality education is one of the most important gifts a child can receive.
The United States were predominantly Protestant in the 19th century. Anti-Catholic sentiment became widespread in response to major movements of immigration from Catholic countries, beginning in the 1840s. Many people - including public figures like Mark Twain - spoke of the rising Catholic population with alarm.
Queen of Peace Catholic School strives to provide the best environment possible for our students' learning and character. Our students are developing their sense of self-respect during these formative years, and one way we can create an environment that implies their God-given dignity is by setting a reasonable expectation of decorum in personal attire.
Queen of Peace Catholic School is a 109-year old parish school. Our mission has never changed: we are here to serve families as they seek to serve Jesus, and we do so by offering an excellent Catholic education to all.
