Happy Time Day Care Center is a unique non-profit early childhood program located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Our location brings us close to a beautiful park that provides endless hours of open-ended play and exploration. Our primary focus is to balance the needs and rights of children, parents and teachers.
We work together to develop a culture that supports each child's unique learning style and to support and guide a child with life skills to be successful now and in the future. Services
Our teachers provide individual attention to our infants to form a strong bond of trust between the teacher, child and parents. Our "homelike" environment is safe and nurturing allowing our infants to freely explore, discover and make connections to their world. The teachers at Happy Time Day Care Center are passionate and committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural.
Toddlers are just beginning to figure out they are independent from other people, can make choices, and test limits. It is a time in their life for risk taking, language development, making connections with others and have endless energy. At Happy Time Day Care Center, we understand how toddlers grow and develop.
It has been such a wonderful 6 years and I can't even begin to express my thanks and appreciation for everything you have done for Evan and Nathan. I am so proud of how far they have come since first beginning at Happy Time and I have all of you to thank for that. It has been truly amazing watching them grow and learn and see how excited they are over wanting to learn more and more.

My family was in MN for almost 1 year and I enrolled my son at Happy Times. I do not miss the cold but I sure miss Happy Times. My son learned a lot and he enjoyed going to school!!! I love the app and how they keep parents informed of everything, the staff is sweet, and I really like how organized they are with everything.
I have tried to find a daycare close to Happy Times at our new location but our daycares fall extremely short of even coming halfway close to them.

Our daughter (2 years, 3 months old) has been at Happy Time since she was 5 months old! We LOVE it there! We don’t have to worry about her (anxious mama here!) all day because the teachers are incredible and have years of experience. They also use a really neat app so you can see your child’s diaper/potty activity, photos of what they’re doing during the day, and other things! Our daughter has so much fun learning and playing with her friends and playing outside as much as possible. My family highly recommends Happy Time Day Care Center! They are NECPA accredited and have the highest possible rating of 4 Stars with Parent Aware. Happy Time has an adaptive environment to meet the needs of all the children. The curriculum's activities are well-defined to encourage children to learn and develop life skills.
