Love love love their flights. This is one of my regular stops in the valley and their hosts are fantastic. From Chardonnay to Cab reserve - amazing!!!! Usually I don't say that about most vineyards verticals but this place is amazing.

I've had the pleasure of having Todd as our latest host and it was amazing. They have a Tesla charging station for those that have EV/Tesla. Also! If you are a GOT fan, this place has the vibes.

The wine was very nice. The setting is beautiful! Sadly the pugs weren't there that day. They don't hover so you can enjoy the wine at your own pace.

James was rude and unaccommodating despite multiple calls explaining we were behind due to a slow tasting any traffic. We were traveling with hospitality recruiters and it left a horrible impression. They not only lost considerable revenue but also tarnished the brand. Sad mistake by someone clearly not educated on customer EQ or brand integrity. Exceptions can always be had but I guess he was more worried about clocking-out. Grout please look at your management and consider who is customer facing and their priorities.

Breakfast of Champions! We went for the 10:15am tasting, Mark our guide is an absolute treasure. Wanted to cancel our other tastings and just hang out with him all day.

I'm not sure if it's because of covid, but we had an outdoor patio, nearly private tasting!! Now I don't want to do it any other way. Wines are lovely, we bought a few bottles to take home. Gorgeous property outlook

Pro tip: stop by Oakville grocery right next to the road you turn into Groth for coffee & breakfast (The spinach & feta croissant is usually hiding in the back corner of the case-get it warmed

Nice experience. Couldn't have asked for more attentive staff. The cabs are great. Especially the latest reserve. Judge for yourself. You will enjoy the experience and the ambiance of this winery.

Had a wonderful experience but we were running late and I ran up the stairs to what seemed like the main building to find someone. Little did I know as I was rushing to check in that I missed all the signs to CALL THEM. I felt like an idiot!

But had a great educational tasting and purchased a bottle I was very pleased with. Definitely come in the morning because it's so peaceful and serene here.

I'd like to start by saying this review does not, in any way, reflect my feelings about the wines. The wines produced by Groth are all excellent. We came here Valentine's day weekend and had booked a tasting in advance. We knew the weather would not be ideal, but we were assured there were plans in place in case it began to rain. We were escorted out to a patio, on the right was our table and on the left was a table under a tent with lights and heaters. It was a little odd, but we sat down and were informed another party would be arriving at the tented table shortly. The gentleman who

First time visitor to Groth, when I arrived all the wines were already laid out beautifully. My server Alex did a phenomenal job explaining each wine in great detail which made the tasting much more memorable. All the wines were phenomenal and given the location and prices, a steal. Great wines and great hospitality, I will definitely be back!

Wonderful tasting experience yesterday morning! They are doing these on their covered, spacious patio. Very comfortable! Very pleasant atmosphere! They were expertly prepared to welcome us for our tasting. Everything was perfectly laid out. They took us through their line up of wines at a perfect, unhurried pace. I think we had maybe six wines, a couple white, but mostly red. All were delicious! They do an expert job producing quality wines, several of which are reasonably priced. Our host was very friendly, attentive, and informative. Definitely a must visit when in the area.

Long story short, I can count on two hands the wineries that I've purchased Cabernet Sauvignon from. To me, it grows everywhere but only a few have mastery of it. Groth is one of those few.

I made a trip to Groth because I wanted to familiarize myself with their portfolio. I see them at restaurants, events, and every now and then a Groth Napa Valley Cabernet makes its way to my house courtesy of Groth fans. I have had a few different vintages of the Napa Valley Cabernet and I absolutely adore it, but don't purchase it as much as I should.

So I get there a bit early as it was technically

Had a bottle of 2012 Groth Cabernet Reserve for dinner a few weeks ago and had an opportunity to visit the winery this past weekend. Our wine educator, Randall, was personable and so informative! The winery and grounds are beautiful and the wines were exceptional. Just by spending the time with us he was able to gauge our tastes and came out from their library collection with a 2006 Oakville Cabernet... Ended up leaving with three bottles. We appreciated the time and personal feel that Groth took with us. This winery is definitely worth a visit! Thank you Randall!

Tasting room is nothing to write home about but the wine is year after year great. Been a member off and on and just love the consistency of their wine. Also fun that they only make a couple Cabs so being a wine club member you get multiple bottles so not afraid to open some throughout the years.

Groth Vineyards&Winery is on a mission. It looks like an iconic California mission, right down to its pink adobe walls&tiled roof. They've expanded over the years (most recently in 2007) They're family owned, so they're very personable. The hosts make it leisurely and familial, discussing their winery's history. It's a bright, happy place, and its $35 tasting fee is sensible considering how steep prices can get in the Napa Valley. They've remained refreshingly unpretentious.

Like many Napa Valley wineries, they are proud of their Cabernet Sauvignon, and rightly

What a great experience! I had time one day and called for a last minute tasting and they were more than happy to accommodate. I don't see this place as a popular, or a common winery, or one that is "off the beaten path" but wow, what a great find. The tasting room is elegant, comfortable, and cozy with a modern swag to it. The bar area also nice. Service was impeccable. I especially enjoyed their white wine and their franc and Verdot. Their wine tasting fee is $50 but well worth the experience.

This was a very worthwhile wine tasting experience that kicked off my wine trip last summer. One of my fellow wineaux friends said this place was not to be missed, and I'm so glad we went.

We totally connected with our wine educator and would have probably hung around to keep chatting with him had we not had another appointment. He took us around the winery and told us the story of how Groth came to be. I got the impression that he and their other employees are thankful to be working for a family owned winery instead of a place held by a larger corporation.

The wine in our tasting was all

The standard-bearer of cabs in the Napa Valley for years, but I always seem to find it herbaceous, especially their Reserve ( which is undoubtedly well-made ) that tastes like bell pepper juice to me.

I vouch for the quality and care, but it just isn't my glass of wine. Just to let people know.

I had the good fortune of visiting Groth twice in the past two weeks during separate wine tasting trips. Of the 20 wineries that I visited in Napa and Sonoma, Groth was one of my very favorites.

On my first visit here, I was part of a group trip and lucky enough to have lunch with owner Suzanne Groth, who couldn't have been nicer. She was so friendly and shared so much about her family's winery and the wine business in general. I learned a lot at lunch and then got to enjoy sipping some of their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon while walking through their vineyards.

I loved my first visit

We visited Groth during our trip to Napa. It is near Silver Oak and other well known wineries. However, its Spanish architecture will give its destination away quickly.

I reserved a tasting on CellarPass or VinoVisit - can't remember which one - but we really didn't need reservations. We ended up being the only tasting group in the room at the time. I enjoyed their tasting set-up. We were provided our own table with very comfortable high-back chairs. Our guide was wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable about Groth wines, but wine varieties in general. Her great customer service made

I can't stress enough how much I loved my visit to Groth Winery. Everything was so professional and polished that I instantly felt right at home as soon as I was greeted at the door. You need to make an appointment to taste here but they can often accommodate you on short notice. Give them a call to ask because I'd hate for you to miss out on this tasting experience and these amazing wines.

Izzy led our tasting appointment and was simply delightful. She had just the right amount of professionalism and friendliness and provided excellent service. Not only did she give us a ton of information

I'm so happy my Aunt, who lived in Minneapolis at the time, told me about Groth. It is too funny that it is nearly in my backyard and I learned about it from someone who doesn't live here. Well thankfully I did learn about Groth!

Their Cabs are extraordinary, particularly their Reserve. Coming to Groth set a new standard for me to hold other Cabs up to and it is hard for others to compete. We've been members ever since we visited as we were so impressed. Their Chardonnay is also very nice as it is balanced with a bit of fruit and a hint of oakiness. I am shocked that I can even

I was introduced to Groth wines a few years ago and the style of cab really impressed me. It is a perfect steak wine, and it is just a really good, beautiful Cabernet that they produce. It turns out they have quite a history (California's first 100pt Cabernet!) and it turns out they have a very beautiful if not rustic and quaint tasting room / facility grounds.

They are located on Oakville-Cross Rd, which means that when you visit Groth you have a lot of options nearby to spend your money. However, at Groth, you will find wines that taste just as great as wines double the price down the
