Peachy Canyon Winery
Listen to The Beckett Family talk about Peachy Canyon Winery on the Cork & Taylor Wine Podcast. Peachy Canyon is a family-owned and operated winery in beautiful Paso Robles on California's Central Coast; near Hearst Castle and Big Sur. Founded by Doug and Nancy Beckett in 1988, Peachy Canyon has long been praised as a producer of award winning California wines that exemplify respect for terroir and dedicated winemaking.

Zinfandel has long been Peachy Canyon's flagship varietal-oftentimes with multiple vineyard designates in production. These red Zinfandels range from elegant and restrained to fruit forward, each an exemplary call to its own terroir. With these exemplary Zins Peachy Canyon has been instrumental in establishing Paso Robles' reputation as a key California wine region.
Services
As a member of our Wine Club, you will receive our wines before they are available to the general public. We ship our wine club twice a year in the months of April and October. Enjoy exclusive access to pre-release wines and purchase your favorite varietals before they are sold out. Membership is free and may be cancelled after taking two shipments.
Peachy Canyon Winery welcomes group visits. To assist our guests in enjoying their tasting experience, please contact us ahead of time to arrange reservations for parties of more than 12 guests. Please contact 805.239-1918 ext.3 or email info@peachycanyon.com. We are dog and family friendly. The Peachy Canyon "Old School House" tasting room, located in the heart of Paso Robles' wine country on Highway 46 West, remains a landmark attraction.
In 1988 Nancy and Doug founded Peachy Canyon Winery in Paso Robles, California, as a 500 case venture. Today, Peachy Canyon wines are currently sold in 48 states, Europe, the Pacific Rim and Canada. The second generation of the Beckett family, brothers Jake and Josh, now manage daily operations at Peachy Canyon.
Peachy Canyon has five estate vineyards properties, all on the west side of Paso Robles, four of which are producing wine grapes as of this writing. These vineyards, while relatively close together, range widely in terroir and allow our winemaking team the opportunity to showcase the range of Paso Robles' microclimates.
Snow Vineyard vines make for low yields and high quality fruit. This vineyard requires a lot of work because it is hand pruned and hand picked. The attentive care given to this vineyard allows these vines to have the perfect balance between fruit load and canopy growth. Balance is the key to keeping this vineyard healthy and the fruit unique to its site.

Have only visited a few wineries in this incredible wine country and we keep coming back here. The wine is very good and the outdoor setting is the best. Huge open lawn with tables and chairs and massive beautiful oaks and the friendliest staff. Peachy is my fave and they even allow walk ins. Absolutely zero pretension and just good vibes and tasty wines.

Such a lovely spot to enjoy an afternoon wine tasting! They have a beautiful, spacious and shaded grassy area for outdoor tasting, along with friendly staff and an easy-going vibe. We made a reservation and they were nice enough to take us early, and to give us an extra tasting of two wines. Highly recommend.

I have loved Peachy Canyon wines for years and have never visited the winery. Finally got an opportunity on our recent Anniversary (36) visit to Paso Robles. It's right off Highway 46 and easy to get to.

We made our reservation and arrived at the prescribed time of 10:30. We were greeted by a friendly person by the name of August. We were the first group to arrive and had our choice of seats.

All tastings are now held outside on the lawn area. And there are tables with chairs spread all over this area with plenty of room to spread and is definitely COVID safe.

What an unexpected and delightful experience! Our host was August and he did a remarkable job of keeping us informed and engaged while making excellent recommendations based on our tastes. Every wine was delectable - particularly all the Zinfandels and various blends. We of course joined the club after an entire day of lazy listening to a wonderful folk singer (love music Sunday) and tasting every wine they had to offer. Could not have possibly had a better experience and we are truly in love with ALL their wines! If you like rich, mineral, organic red wines and nice acidic whites.. come here

Good wine. We arrived too late in the afternoon to do a tasting but had a nice glass of wine on their patio. Pretty views! Staff was very friendly!

The grounds were beautiful and there were plenty of shaded areas to sit and enjoy a tasting. We never felt rushed! Not very peachy!
Giant rip off.
Three of us visited for the tasting.
We were charged $20.00 each.
Then we were told that we had to buy 6 of their wines to eliminate the $60.00 tasting fee. The wines are mediocre at best.

One of the most beautiful, friendly and fantastic wineries in Paso Roblos! The wine tasting was absolutely perfect - ended up buying the Peachy Zinfandel but the others were also so amazing. Ashley did an absolutely fantastic job of taking us through the different Peachy varietals. It's just the right level of casual, very pet friendly and of course very human friendly.

Reservation system is an efficient process. Host and server were friendly and knowledgeable of their wine. Ambience was relaxing and delicious to the senses. Thank God for the need to social distance and reduce capacity to weed out the inebriated guests.

The outdoor lawn and amply spaced out seating was perfect for a lazy afternoon of wine tasting. The vibe is low key/casual and they served their wine in cute individual jars for self-pouring. The self-pouring was nice as you could go at your own pace and not feel rushed to finish your tasting. Due to the limited interaction though, it did take us awhile to find someone to get the bill.

We were so pleased that there was an opening on Easter morning! The grounds are picturesque and have almost a nautical theme. Even our wonderful host August was dressed in his Sunday best and looked like the captain of the ship! :-) We appreciated the surprise and delight moment with the special Bordeaux blend at the end! Incredible experience all around and thoroughly thoughtful staff! A+, cheers!

First off I've never been wine tasting before and this was my first experience. I definitely enjoyed the outside atmosphere along with the scenery. They had all the tables distanced from one another and served their wine in individual jars for self pouring which I loved. The staff were very courteous, helpful, and kind to everyone!

Very friendly knowledgeable staff. One surprise on the product list was a port. It's very seldom that you see Port made outside of Portugal. This one is worth a try.

Their outdoor tasting venue is a vast lawn set up with picnic tables and umbrellas. The tastings are served with a marked menu and in adorable little mason jars. Our tasting hostess was very friendly and attentive. The wines were quite good, and we bought several to take home. The highlight for my husband was the winery cat who jumped up on his lap while we were tasting and demanded a good scratch. What a fun visit!

This was our last stop of the day on our vineyard excursion and probably my favorite. In addition to the (red) wines being some of the best in my opinion, the way they did their pours were really unique.

All customers were spread out over the large grass area. Instead of running out to each customer with a bottle of wine, they brought out small carafes of thier whole flight for us to pour ourselves. This saved both time and gave us the ability of taking our time individually.

Beautiful grounds, awsome view and of course, great wine.
