Villicana Winery & Re:Find Distillery
We produce approximately 2,000 cases per year, which allows proprietors Alex and Monica Villicana to handcraft each vintage and create a superior wine. We personally planted our 13 acre vineyard and continue to farm it with an emphasis on maintaining low yields which produce intensely concentrated fruit.

By doing this we are able to ensure that only premium grapes are used to produce our memorable Estate wines. Our tasting room is nestled in the corner of our working winery so ambiance is abundant. You literally experience the on goings of the winery. And, true to the charm of a small, family winery, the proprietors are usually behind the bar personally answering questions.
Services
After almost a decade of learning about the art of winegrowing and winemaking, Alex and Monica Villicana opened their Westside Paso Robles tasting room, giving their hand crafted, award-winning wines a place to call home and fans of the label a place to visit. The Villicana label owes its existence to an unsuccessful culinary school.
In order to provide our guests with a memorable, personal tasting experience, we have limited our capacity. If we are unable to conduct a safe tasting for you due to weather, we will contact you to reschedule your tasting. When booking a reservation, please account for the number of people who will need a seat (including children and designated drivers), not the number of people tasting.
If you are looking to experience Paso Wine Country as a local, we have the perfect place for you to stay. Our newly refreshed guest house is now available for weekend, weekly, and monthly rentals. We are 4 miles away (8-minute car ride) from the quaint downtown Paso Robles square boasting fabulous restaurants and boutiques.
Paso Robles boasts superb eateries. This makes sense being that we are in the heart of a wine region. You won't get ordinary food at any of the below restaurants. The food is delicious, the ambiance is quaint and the proprietors are almost always on hand to ensure you have a memorable dining experience.
The Paso Robles area hosts numerous events due to the popularity of the wine industry and fair grounds, especially in the summer. Therefore the room rates and availability fluctuate greatly depending on the dates you wish to visit. We highly recommend you make your room reservations prior to planning any other activities.

REALLY enjoyed our tasting here! We came just to try out the distillery but luckily the tasting includes items feom both the distilery and the winery so we left HUGE fans of both their liquors AND wine (PLUS we joined the club)

They have a rotating seasonal vodka and we happened to be here when kumquat vodka was available, SPOT ON with the flavor!

Also I personally don't think of gin or whiskey as a sipper but wow they make good ones!

We also loved all 3 Villicana wines we tasted, the mourvedre, cuvee, and the merlot!

We had a good time here. The wine was good although we liked some styles better than others during the tasting. The distilled spirits were done well. The barrel aged vodka (a.k.a. 6 month aged whiskey) was different enough for me to purchase a bottle.

They do have a limited release bourbon they make but it's only available to club members when they have it available. The bourbon is not available for tasting or bottle purchase to non-members.

One of my fav stops during our little wine tour of Paso. We came during our minimoon and they had a sweet little "congratulations" sign waiting for us at our table. We were helped by Mrs. Villicana herself, and all of their drinks were excellent.

Their wines are very good but I think what makes them stand out is the fact that they have a distillery that repurposes some of their barrels and grapes, and they make really cool, delicious liquors.

The tastings are held on their spacious patio with a sweet old dog who greets guests.

We left with four bottles and loved the experience

Delicious wine and spirits! I have to admit that I'm not a hard alcohol fan, but even I appreciate Re:Find alcohol, particularly the cucumber vodka. I've been here a few times before, and it's nice to see that they have such a large space outdoors in which to do properly distanced tastings. Everything felt very safe to me.

Our fully outdoor tasting was handled by Victoria who did an excellent job. She knew a lot about the wines and spirits and was very nice to talk to.

Our tasting had three wines and five spirits. My favorite of the wines was a tossup between the viognier

The service was amazing- so friendly and home feeling! Small little quiet place off the beaten path but a great little gem. They have wine tasting but if you're also looking for something other than wine, they have a great distillery and offering tastings of vodka, gin, and other hard liquors that they make themselves! Would 100% recommend to others! We will be back for sure!
(Also, look up RE-FIND; same place)

Amazing tasting experience! So glad we found this place. We did the 4wine and 5 spirits tasting. Recommended to share since it gets heavy with the spirits. You also have to get a charcuterie board (wish they offered a vegetarian one since my friend couldn't have any). We loved the Grenache and enjoyed the outdoor area... the spirits tasting was fun, though we ordered a club soda as the spirits were of course pretty strong. We honestly also didn't finish all (it's a bit less than a shot) We switched the barrel aged vodka with gin to switch up the vodkas a bit, but regretted not trying

Two friends plus hubby and I came for his birthday. We were wowed! Our server was welcoming and even had a sign up for us! We started with wine flights then transitioned to the liquors.

Each drink was explained in detail. We were well informed and given options for mixing cocktails at home.

The store inside is even more fun! So many creative tasty options.

I recommend for anyone looking for more than wine tasting, ReFind is an experience!

One of the must stop when visiting Paso Robles. Their wines are good, we like the spirit tasting more. Their special barrel vodka is good alone and for cocktails. They have very interesting cocktail recipes for the hot and cold days. Friendly and accommodating staffs.

They are open during COVID. We went for a wine and spirits tasting. They encourage people to share so between 5 people, we had 2 tasting orders. So only two glasses. From 3 of us, 1 wanted to do only wine while 2 others wanted to do the spirits. Every tasting you must buy a lunch and their lunch is limited in selection. You must make a reservation. Our reservation time was at 4:15pm and we only had once choice for food. Both food options were $15. They require you to buy a food so they are able to operate during COVID. They had a salad and a sandwich available when we went. So your tasting would

This place is about 15 minutes from Paso Robles, and worth the drive to this hidden gem.

I drove here from Orange County to pickup hand santizers to add to my collection of "boozy sanitizers" from American distilleries. The lady who helped me was very friendly and even let me see the inside where they make their spirits.

Worth the drive, and they even have a grassy area for picnics or just to chill with your drink.

Came here to check out the vodka distillery--who knew you could use the grape waste from wine to make a really tasty vodka and brandy?!
Danica was very knowledgeable and friendly during our tasting--one of the more fun tastings I've had.
Definitely check out this place if you like vodka; it's a nice change of pace from tasting wine all day!

These guys are so passionate about their wines and spirits. It was really an experience visiting and tasting here. Unfortunately I didn't like any of the wine or spirits haha, but I'm still happy we tried it!

The tasting includes both the wine and the spirits. We shared one tasting between two people and I'm so glad we did because spirit tasting is no joke.

Apparently the wine maker purposely pulls his grapes from the vines early to get the taste he wants. I've learned from other wineries that this gives you a more acidic taste, whereas some wineries wait until the last possible

Man I wish I can give this place a big old Zero.
The wine is ok but the spirits are just mediocre. Anyway long story short , I will not be coming back. If you are looking for good spirits at a winery krobar. Far superior spirits and WAY WAY better hospitality

I heard about Re:Find through word of mouth and fell in love with their spirits and story. This place is unique because they have both wine and spirit tasting in one venue. Staff here is passionate about what they do and you can't get into the distillery portion until someone is available to walk you through to explain their products. I really like this because as busy as they are they try to keep it as intimate and informative as possible.

I moved to the area a few months ago and I couldn't help but feel like a local when I got a membership for the very first time. I'm so very

Just up the road from the old town Paso Robles is this cute winery and only distillery in the area. If could give more stars I would! I love supporting families who understand the value of hard work and great passion. For the Villicana family this shines in every sip of their fine wines and distilled spirits. They made our experience very individual giving close attention to the details of our taste. My wife and I paid for the tasting because we wanted to sip some spirits. Kumquat...ever heard of a Kumquat? Well I have a tree in my backyard and grew up with them. A citrus fruit that is

Re:Find distillery is an more than just good spirits, it's an experience! The staff are all very informative, welcoming, and very friendly. Mary, Jen, Victoria, Monica, Alex, and everyone there are absolutely too notch. They will treat you like family and provide a unique tasting experience. Though I am personally not much into spirits these days, I can't help but love the barrel rested vodka and the kumquat liquor. It's hard to choose a favorite though because all of the products are of top quality.

The outdoor picnic area is very inviting with corn hole and shaded seating.

Villicana is both a winery and a distillery, making vodka, gin, and other spirits using the leftover grape juice from the wine making process. The distillery side is called Re:Find.

We decided to taste both wine and spirits. Their tasting room is small, simple, and very clean. The ladies who were pouring were all friendly and helpful. We both really liked the Pinot Noir & their Winemaker's Cuvee.

After wine tasting, we went into the next room to try vodka, cucumber vodka, gin, and limoncello. Their plain vodka was very good, had a sweet smell to it, and was super smooth, we bought a
