My husband and I have used Reed for many years. What a big disappointment this year. The home we rented was just plain nasty. It definitely wasn’t cleaned to COVID protocol. The ceiling fans were coated in dust, the windows were the same. The furniture was nasty. The rugs were so nasty we had to roll them up and set them outside. We had to put sheets down so we felt comfortable enough to sit down. I called the Reed numbers and after talking to two people (one of them being Mr. Reed) I was contacted my Ryan, He was no nasty to me that I was in tears. He told me that he had nothing to switch me

Be Fair Warned. Their web page does not work correctly. It will allow you to select days that they do not actually rent for. They will call you and have you arrange the rental to fit the days the do rent at an additional cost or cancel the rental. Cost me an additional $2000 for 2 additional days.

We stayed in Cuz Sands East for a week July 2021. Check in and out was super easy and the few people we had to deal with were very nice. The price of the house was AMAZING, especially considering we were literally ON THE BEACH! The house itself was a little worn and needs some updates/repairs and could use a good floor to ceiling deep clean. The grounds need to be cleared of debris/trash. We had fun and it was worth the price we paid. I would have given 5 stars if the house and grounds had been cleaner.

We stayed at the Jolie Vie and had issues the entire week.
The doors leaked so every time it rained, the floors around the doors flooded. We had ants and couldn’t leave anything out. Ants even got into our medicine. I’m not given an option to upload pictures here, but I have them, and I’ll try to share them on a different review site.
Also, while at the beach, my credit card was hacked. Reed Real Estate was unprofessional and refused to contact their bank to help me get my pet refund that was sent to my hacked account. (My credit card company said that no deposit had been posted to my hacked

Currently here first night. Will be calling Reed in the morning or Monday. Staying at Honey Dunes, internet does not work, water pressure is non existent. Toilets barely flush shower barley pushes water and sinks are clogged. Definitely no where near the quality of the online photos. Love gulf shores but next year off to new destinations. Also the mattresses are paper thin and very very uncomfortable.

Late Monday afternoon prior to our arrival on Saturday, I received a call that our property would not be ready. The caller from Reed Real Estate was very apologetic and stated there were no alternates available, but I would receive a full refund. Apparently, the home had been under repair since September 2020 after a hurricane. The reservation had been confirmed two months with no indication that there was a foreseeable issue, not to mention the fact that our family traveling from multiple states suddenly had no accommodations. I realize the circumstance of construction delay was out of their control

My family stayed at "The Fort", April 3-10th. This was my first time booking with your rental company and most likely the last. My family was disgusted with the lack of cleanliness and upkeep of this rental.  During this uncertain time, cleaning and property management should be stepping up and ensuring that CDC cleaning guidelines are at the top of their list. This was absolutely not the case with "The Fort". Bed linen were dirty/stained, kitchen and bath towels were dirty/stained, hair balls were in the corners, there were stains on the floors, etc...

I sure hope not but do you want to take this chance? Please know that your rental agreement with Reed is not worth the piece of paper it is written on. Eight days prior to checking in, we were informed that the owner of the house had sold to another party and this new party would not agree to rent for our agreed upon week. THIS OCCURRED EIGHT DAYS PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL AND COINCIDED WITH THE LONG EASTER WEEKEND! Needless to say we could find absolutely ZERO houses along the gulf and Atlantic that was not

We stayed at down by the sea and loved the area and beach it was perfect not many people so relaxing!! the beds were not meant for bigger/tall people better for kids other than that the house was perfect

We stayed in Salty Paws and it was wonderful! Reed Real Estate Staff was so great! Easy to work with!! We loved being able to bring our dogs!! Highly recommend! Would definitely stay there again!! Short walk to the beach and the house was picture perfect!!

We stayed at one of their rentals at Gulf Shores recently and I was not very pleased with their customer service. We rented through VRBO the day before we were suppose to arrive and when we were about an hour out realized we never received check-in instructions. I sent a message and once we arrived still hadn't heard from them. I tried to contact them but couldn't get in touch so I reached out to VRBO who also couldn't get in touch. We waited about 45 mins until I asked the property next door how they got in. They forwarded me the email I was apparently suppose to receive that also

Seriously dissatisfied with their customer service. They take NO responsibility for their own ineptitude. Made a reservation with them via phone, for a less than week reservation, for a party of 10. Then after sitting on reservation for 3 weeks, they cancel it, and tell me it's my fault for not reading their invisible fine print. If they have a policy of only renting for a week during high season, fine, but don't let your crappy reservation system let people make a shorter than week reservation, then tell them they are wrong. Bugger off Reed and associates.

August 2019 - Fort Morgan. We has problems with the internet, direct tv, the dish washer, and air conditioning. Dead bugs in the bathroom - overall cleanliness was marginal. It was still a fun weekend, but a few too many problems. I rented from them many years ago, and they tried to charge me for cigarette burns on the carpet - never smoked one in my life.

We rented the Seahorse the 1st week in August, this was our first time renting in Gulf Shores as we usually vacation in OBX. The house was awful. We got into the house and the one of the windows was being held in with butter knives. The other windows had screens that had very large holes or no screens at all. The mold on the shower curtain was gross. Doors were off hinges and the bugs were terrible. The light above the sink had its wires taped together. The front door was near impossible to open. The deck was falling apart, nails and screws were coming out which mad it impossible to walk on the

Spent a week on the Gulf in a Reed rental. There were twelve of us on deck. The house was clean, well stocked with full kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. I would suggest Reed if anyone asked. I even buried the car so I couldn't leave. Lol

Rented Double Wave through Reed 7/6 - 7/13/19. Upon arrival the house was filthy, broken chairs on the patio, cookware that needed to be thrown out 10 years ago. Sheetrock and paint was peeling off the ceiling in one of the upstairs bedrooms. I asked for the light bulb that was out over one of the showers to be replaced - that never happened so we just showered in the dark.
The WiFi was nonexistent. When I mentioned this to Reed they said they don't own the internet company so couldn't help that. Another person in our party had a conference call for work during the trip so he was able

I enjoyed my stay because I was by the ocean not because of the house. Was disturbed when I got there cause of the water buges in the house. I was told that was a normal thing by the ocean. Their was 4 or 5 dead on the floors around the house. Seen a live one later in the week in the kitchen. You would think they would have picked them up. We called and they said they would come down and never did. The blinds were torn up and the only trash can we had had a huge hole in the side. Roaches running everywhere in the property called Zephyr Shores. It definitely was not our first pick for a beach rental but at the time we decided to go, few options were left. My husband found this place available. We could tell it was an older home but there are many things Reed chose not to show on the images they provided of this beach rental. Our child has a dust mite allergy and asthma, so arriving to a very dusty house was worrisome. We found a lot of yellowed bed linens and pillows in the bedrooms. Reservations were easy to make. Prior to visit, I received a detailed email regarding house information and where to go for items we may need. Check in was quick. They provided a welcome bag that was filled with a few necessities.
We stayed at After Dune Delight. Their decsription of the property was perfect. Although the home is not ocean front, there is a slight view. It is an easy walk to the beach. We choose the home for the pool. The pool is a good size. The layout of the home was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and 3 children. There was space for all of us in the living room and

I stayed at Gumbo One and was very disappointed!!!
Upon arriving I went to change my sheets as I always bring my on and saw stained blood on the sheets, then I go to shower and there was mold all around the bottom which I cleaned. Then the following day I went to heat my coffee and the microwave handle was about to fall off. Then of course as I look up all the vents were black hanging from dust in each room. The dust on the floors had dog hair in places so I vacuumed.

I did email the owner. He gave us a $100 refund, very disappointed. I think I would move my house to another management company

We stayed in Down Time on the beautiful beaches in
Ft. Morgan on 3/10-3/17/2018. We've rented from Reed numerous times in the past but this time it was disappointing. The house was beautiful but it wasn't clean. When we arrived, there was leftover food clumps in the kitchen cabinets and drawers. We found remnents of dog food and spilled cereal on the living room furniture and in the cushions or underneath the furniture. The floors had spills that hadn't been cleaned. My family stayed at the home "Ahead of the Game" during Thanksgiving 2017. We go to the beach a lot but have made going there for Thanksgiving a family tradition for about 6 years now. We wanted to get a house this time that had a lot of room. I found this home in Fort Morgan and was very excited. The house itself is large and roomy but, not ideal.

Upon arrival on Nov 22 we noticed that the front door was standing wide open. We found that to be quite odd. We went inside and it was evident this door had been open for a while. The house appeared ok and we proceeded to go claim bedrooms

We just stayed at Happy Days and the house itself wasn't horrible but most definitely could have been taken better care of. The pool was filthy and the filter didn't work. When we reported it the representative said they rent houses not fix pools. We rented that particular property because it had both a pool and beach access. The house was infested with ants and when the exterminator came he blamed the infestation on a wet towel being in the room (the towels were in the bathroom not the bedroom where the ants were) and said there was nothing he could do about the ants by the pool. We always use Reed when we stay in Fort Morgan and they have been awesome!

This time around, we stayed in a different property that was on the same street, just further down and on the beach. To the left of us was a property. To the right, was a wildlife habitat, which meant that no houses could be built, which was pretty awesome.

If you had any problems, they would be there in a heartbeat. The properties are always well kept and clean.

I can not wait for our next adventure......
