I have a relative that has been a resident at San Souci for many years and has been very well taken care of. The staff at the front desk are very pleasant and take great care to see that all visitors are treated well.
House keeping staff keeps the facility clean.
Omar and the recreation team are constantly coming up with ways to entertain the residents.
It is not an easy job but the nursing staff does a great job taking care of the residents especially with Covid affecting so many nursing homes.

I wish I could put Zero stars. If you read other reviews a lot of the negatives ones are all so similar with the incidents that happen and I like to believe that everyone deserves a second chance until you see it for your own eyes. Unfortunately I have witnessed something so horrible to a loved one.
With much experience in treating elderly in therapy The lack of urgency and response for a life threatening injury BLOWS MY MIND. Breaking a hip is SO dangerous and for no emergency contacts called no EMS called FOR HOURS they were laying there. The unprofessionalism and lack of concern is disgusting

This is a WARNING to the public!! Please do not make the mistake of leaving your loved one in the care of the staff at San Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing center located in Yonkers. To make a very long story short. Yesterday my grandmother fell while under the supervision/care of the staff of this facility. As a result, she fractured her hip and has horrible scrapes on her arm . They waited SIX hours to notify us of the incident and it took another two hours for her to be sent to the hospital & that's only because I called EMS myself. It took a total of EIGHT hours for my Grandmother to get the

NEGLECTFUL STAFF:
Nurses catching attitudes and taunting my mother for her medication.
She came from the hospital as her health was getting better and now her health is getting worse. Literally within 3 days she has gotten worse.
The food here for diabetics is a boiled egg and a big piece of cornbread. Gross. But then the dinner is a burger and tater tots??
They lost my moms bag on the first day.
Her calls were ignored for nurse assistance as she felt her glucose going low and after 20 mins of hearing nurses outside talking about ignoring the call, nurse kabi comes in with an attitude saying

0 stars. My 80 year old Dad was admitted to San Souci. When he left the hospital, my Dad was back at his baseline. Walking with his cane. Talking. Laughing. Due to his dementia episodes, it was advised for him to recover in a place he’ll have 24 hour care. Worst decision was bringing him to San Souci. The morning of Friday: 4/2, we brought in my Dad’s belongings; he walked in with just a few belongings the night before. The morning of Saturday: 4/3, I came in to visit and his belongings were still at the front desk. I went to do a window visit and my Dad was sleeping with his sneakers on the

When I 1st arrived at Sans SOUCI NURSING HOME. I was not being open minded. I've been here almost 4 months and things have been great. The staff here are very caring and compassionate. The new concierge Ben Orgel has been real helpful with my treatment.slong with the nursing director Angie and administrator Judah. All the nurses and aides have been ecellant. Believe me when I tell you that I probably could have been asked to leave many times. But the staff never gave up on me.

Last year I was a patient in 3 different rehab facilities. Each was worse than the last! Below is
a picture of what looked like a monster to me.
It was to watch me instead of a nurse or a loving staff member.
I had nightmares all day and all night.
By God’s grace my daughter found
a social worker who gave her a long list of more rehabilitation centers. She and I saw Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing home at the same time. The listing talked about families and loved ones. We both circled it. We didn’t look at any other place.
