We spent a 3 day weekend in one of their property called "Not the Norm" and it was stellar. If you want a large beach home in the perfect location contact these folks. They manage many properties in the area. Not a cheap stay but the bang for the buck is there. We tripped a GFCI somewhere in the house. After searching, we called (no hold) and a tech was their within 30 min and he found and reset the GFCI. Towels are wrapped up in nice bundles, everyone slept well, tons of seating, plenty of wifi bandwidth. My only knocks are on the outside: Outdoor seating is limited and not on par with neighboring

We have been using Five Star Hotels for our girls trip for 10 years. We are currently staying at the Capitano In Destin, FL and it has been the worst ever.
Obviously, there is no walk through before tenants arrive because we have had to call numerous times for…
Elevator not working
Air conditioning wasn’t working
Broken door handles and locks
Very dusty, stained furniture, cobwebs, dirty chandeliers, etc.
Mildew smell in upper quarters
Remote backs missing (so you know they haven’t been cleaned)
shrubs and over grown brush, grounds totally unkept
…which after calling they came

Mare Moderno.
We (17) rented Mare Moderno the week of Thanksgiving. This was our 2d time renting through Five Star Beach properties. Our 1st rental home was phenomenal. The service we received was awesome and our family still talks about the fun we had on that summer vacation.
This trip was slightly different. Mare Moderno needs a little TLC. My biggest complaint was the larger oven was inoperable (which made reheating turkeys and hams plus side dishes challenging) and while the picture depicts seating for 22, we had 14 indoor chairs. Which meant we had to eat standing up, or outdoors. This would

I would give them 0 stars, if I could. Last year they said the house would be built in time for Thanksgiving, and it wasn’t. Our family (Padgett) moved the reservations to this year, and we had to find out for ourselves the house was sold! They didn’t even bother to call us to book a different house or give us a refund, we found out on our own. When we confronted them, they only had 3 bedroom condos, when we needed at least 4 bedrooms, and they offered to look on VRBO for us… which we can do ourselves. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company at all costs.

I sent this directly to five star in three email addresses last month and got ZERO response:
The door to the outer top deck needs to be replaced. Additionally, the toilet on the first floor is coming very loose and the outside grill is in need of some drip pan cleaning.
I did appreciate the packaged towels, but in all that were there, only three washcloths and hand towels were among them. We'd also like to be able to clean the floors of sand a little more, but the nylon broom was really ineffective.
We really enjoy the beaches in Destin and hope to return with some other properties.

Our family stayed at the Verona house during Fall Break. The house is absolutely beautiful with any amenity that you can think of. It has the best stocked kitchen of any property that we have ever stayed in. The short walk to the beach, the beach chairs, and the pool looking over the ocean was amazing and so relaxing. Just what our family was looking for!!

We stayed at Blue Crush in Miramar Beach last week. The house was was very nice! It is a quick walk, on a private road, to the beach. The area is quiet and not crowded. The beach chair rentals that come with the house were much appreciated and we even rented an extra set. We enjoyed the bar area beneath the house in the evenings and on our rainy day. We loved this area and will stay here again!
The issue we had was with the private pool. After the first 2 days the pool started to turn green with algae. We called about it several times but the pool company did not come by. By Friday it was covered

Our family just spent a week at Destiny Shores; are completely in awe with the level of hospitality that your company provided; thank you.
The beachfront property was clean, well equipped and big enough for our family of 18.
The reservation process was awesome, your team helped us move to a different house just days before checking, very smooth.
During our stay on all 7 days, whenever we called, each time it was answered promptly and satisfactorily.
The cleaning staff (we requested for a mid week linen service) were very polite and professional.

My family of 9 recently had the privilege of staying at the Splash of Lime property in Miramar Beach, FL. To say that our stay was bliss is an understatement. The property was very clean upon arrival. It featured all new kitchen appliances on both the upstairs and downstairs levels in the home. It was very spacious for our group yet close enough that everyone was comfortable. It easily accommodated my daughter's family on the downstairs level.
