This is our 1st time going here after moving house. The clinic is clean and bright. Dr. Rebecca did a wonderful job and so thorough. It'd been the first time for my little daughter and she enjoyed the experience with Dr. Rebecca. However, the staff who handled glasses for my kids was extremely salesy and forcing with all kinds of sales language. I had never found myself in a situation of trying so hard to explain many times for not having a back-up pair (which of course cost a good amount of money and when we need, we will manage) for my son who has been wearing glasses for 7 years. "

Eye Q of Scarsdale has the highest priced glasses of anywhere. I priced the same glasses at several optical shops in the area, and Eye Q's price was significantly higher, for the exact same frames, prescription and options. Eye Q will nickel and dime you. The other reason for my low score is that the manager, Brania, is extremely rude and nasty to customers. She seems like a very angry, agitated individual who behaves in a disrespectful, unprofessional manner towards customers. I have advised my family and friends to steer clear of Eye Q in Scarsdale, and I advise everyone reading this review

-Felt rushed, openly made comments about cutting into the next appointment time
-Up/cross sell pressure
-Awkward customer service at times
-Expensive
-Large bill for follow up, likely to ensure profit
-Did not agree to pay what insurance does not prior to the appointment, but was charged anyway
Overall good for your optometry needs. The exam is good and facility is clean, other elements suffer in comparison.

Had to wait a little because the doctor was behind schedule but they had free Hershey kisses and offered me water. The doctor was great, staff was ok and I had a perfect eye exam. They accidentally charged my credit card as if I didn't have insurance so always double check what they are charging you but overall I did have a good exam and that's most important.

Great experience. I got my eyes checked by Dr. Philip. Very thorough exam. The doctor took her time, went through a lot of the different possibilities and made sure everything was right before I left.
Dr. Philip asked if I had time to do the Glaucoma test as it added half an hour to the visit. She then gave me a special sunglass filter to put under my glasses.
The visit was very pleasant. The doctor was on time and they had a good selection of glasses. And, the best part of the experience is that my insurance covered most of it.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I will definitely

I couldn't be more satisfied with Dr. Zlatin and his staff...all very professional and helpful. I have seen an ophthalmologist for years and Dr. Z's exam is far more thorough and uses the most advanced equipment to detect any abnormalities or deficiencies. I had issues with my insurance co. with regard to medication and the office was very diligent in following up with them and my pharmacy.

As background, I am in my 40's and have been seeing optometrists since I was 9, and wearing contact lenses since I was 13. In short, I have seen many eye doctors over the last 30 plus years. A friend recommended Dr Zlatin and his office to me. I was blown away by the expertise, patience, ability to explain the details in layperson language and the desire to look out for the care and health of the eyes. And not simply to prescribe new and more powerful lenses, which is what I had become accustomed too. In fact, the RX for my prescription was reduced. And we spoke about other preventative measures

The prices may be higher than the run of the mill optical store but it is well worth it. I have never seen better with glasses than those prescriptions filled here. The service is excellent and they always are there if you have a problem. The owners are always available .
The examinations by Dr Phillips and DR Zlatkin are very thorough. Dr Zlatkin picked up a rare condition of my husbands and knew exactly what physician to refer him to. They are also immaculately clean, so important to avoid any infections from the equipment. We highly recommend them.

This was my worst retail experience EVER! I chose this store because they offered a sunglass sale for Mother's Day and both of my girls needed sunglasses. In addition, we brought in prescriptions for glasses. I was told the first pair of sunglasses were excluded from the sale since they were for a 12-year-old and there was no profit margin in that size, so I paid full price. I was told the second pair was excluded since it wasn't in stock. I ordered this pair anyway and was told I would receive a phone call the following business day to confirm availability. The call never came

As promised, I am writing a follow up. My wife did seek a second opinion and thae doctor did concur with the diagnosis and prescription that Dr. Zlatin provided.
As you can see below, to his credit Dr. Zlatin did reach out to me and try the rectify the situation. As kind an offer as that was, we have decided to seek care elsewhere.
