Dr. skolnick should not be working with children! She has no patience with them, cannot handle when they confuse marker pen caps (for example if the blue cap goes on the black pen she has a freak out), and the way she speaks to people is just plain degrading. I am horrified by her practice and the only thing they’re concerned about is getting your credit card information. Please avoid this doctor at all cost.

Need I say more?? I would travel the world over to see Dr. Slotnick.
She uncovered my left eye issues in which I was practically going blind at 32 years old, with never a competent doctor to get to the root of my overall life limitations because of my congenital eye condition (ptosis left eye which caused a host of other lifelong vision issues with it.)
Since her diagnosis and prescription, my life has completely changed! I’m learning faster than ever, more organized and get so much done in my day thanks to these glasses! The world is opening up to me finally without so much struggle day-to

I am in awe of Dr. Slotnick! Truly, I am! She sat with me thru almost an entire one-on-one session drawing out of me things that I never even realized were creating stress in my life. She was able to soften each 'stressor' with a kind, uplifting, reinforcing reason why things were working against me in a non-judgmental way. I took my son to see Dr. Slotnick because we needed a comprehensive, written evaluation for school. We came from out-of-state as I'd heard great things about Dr. Slotnick. Before traveling to her office, we did a consult with her, so we already felt like we knew her and had mutual expectations and clearly set goals for the testing. Dr. Slotnick was the only doctor willing to take my case. I saw numerous eye doctors in nj and they all told me that they could not help me obtain 3d vision. Dr. Slotnick said otherwise and has been working very closely with me to obtain these goals. Due to her efforts and expertise I have made more progress than I ever expected. It is never to late to work on vision goals especially with Dr. S on your side.

Dr. Slotnick and her staff has worked together as a team to help my son's vision improve. His vision therapies has helped him focus, take more delight in his activities and in school (he made it to honor roll at the end of his school year!). Dr. Slotnick is passionate about what she does. She is completely "focused" on her patients in meticulous, empathetic and meaningful ways. After a extensive evaluation, my son has been attending weekly vision therapy sessions with Dr. Slotnick for the past three months. We have seen almost immediate improvements with him in his reading and overall confidence. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Slotnick, her approach, and her ability to connect with children. She is so passionate about her work, she pours her heart into it, and it shows. It is hard to find a specialist who is so knowledgable about this kind of therapy, and I am so glad I was able to find Dr. Slotnick. Two thumbs up.
