Services
CliC is the brand name for "those really clever glasses that click together and hang 'round the neck". We like to refer to the innovation as "magnetic connection eyewear". There are two key features to these glasses: the continuous neck-strap and the magnetic connection at the bridge. This enables the glasses to stay put when they're on your nose then sit comfortably and stylishly around the neck while not in use.
Article One Eyewear is inspired by vintage American shapes, thoughtfully designed with a modern eye. The frames are all handmade with only the finest Italian Mazzucchelli acetate in a family-owned factory in Northern Italy by true craftsman. Article One Eyewear was founded with a single goal in mind - to increase the funding for vitamin A supplementation in developing countries.

I don't usually post reviews but Squint's overall service is outstanding. I had heard good things from Dobbs Ferry residents but then my insurer, VSP, pointed me to Squint so we tried them. My daughter and wife both picked up 2 things that they were very happy with including the quality of the lenses and frames. The selection is great too. With insurance my daughter's prescription Ray Bans were very inexpensive.

I have been wearing glasses and contacts for 40 years (yikes) and have been more pleased with Dr Debra Bernstein's services at Squint than any other business of this nature. She gets the prescription right, everytime! She takes as much time as it requires to complete her thorough and thoughtful exams, not just for correct prescription, but for lifestyle and preferences. I recently brought my 15 year old to her for her first glasses, and Dr Bernstein related so well to my teenager, and she left feeling good about getting glasses and liking the ones Dr Bernstein helped her choose. Not an easy feat

I have had annual eye exams with an ophthalmologist since I was a child so this review is about frames and service.
I was not impressed with the frames providers in the area and i was looking for a comfortable place to look at fashionable frames when I discovered Squint Optometry in 2010. Debra Bernstein provides a warm atmosphere with tasteful feedback and suggestions on what is becoming. My new glasses are on order, and I am certain that I will not experience buyer's remorse--I never have at Squint.
