We are glad that you found your way to us. Aregis TaeKwonDo is a full service, traditional martial arts studio located about 20 minutes outside of Nashville, Tennessee in Goodlettsville. Owned and operated by Senior Master Louie Aregis; our school offers over 30 years experience in martial arts instruction for both children and adults.
We provide our After School Program to various grade levels. Our van drivers collect and safely transport your child from their school to our center for their Taekwondo classes. After their classes, our After School Staff provide homework assistance in our well-equipped Homework Area, as well as snacks, coloring books, building blocks, kid-friendly tv shows and other activities in our Snack Room.

Services
The Aregis Taekwondo Center (formerly Rivergate Taekwondo) has been training martial artists in the Rivergate and surrounding area since 1987. The foundation of our program is the understanding and application of a goal setting process - along with our relentless pursuit of perfection - which helps to insure a students' guideline for success.
Courtesy - Being courteous means to show respect for others and treat them, as you would wish to be treated. The practice of courtesy encourages a sense of justice and humanity. The practice of courtesy and proper etiquette allows us to distinguish instructor from student, senior from junior, and elder from younger.
At Aregis Taekwondo, we have an amazing team of instructors that will work with you to bring out your very best. They will challenge and encourage you to aim high and help you reach your goals. Master Louie Aregis is the owner and Chief Instructor of the Aregis Taekwondo Center, located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Our Summer Camp ties together all facets of our facility in one. While we maintain Taekwondo classes each day, this program invites children from all age ranges across our student body to join us in a fun and creative environment. We offer daily field trips to different events, including the park, skating, bowling, movies, biking/hiking and so much more!
Aregis Taekwondo offers a variety of both day and evening classes for adults, children and families of all ages and fitness levels. Classes are offered during the day and evenings Monday through Friday to fit busy familes and adults schedules. Taekwondo is a perfect way for families to work out together or adults looking for a new and fun way to exercise.

We would recommend Aregis to any guardian for any age. Our son attends their after school program and Summer program. He gets to do fun activities, they teach him the principals of being a good human with being polite, using manners and being independent.
They offer care when schools are closed last minute and I totally trust their van drivers with picking up from school and taking them on field trips.
I am very very pleased to have found this center and have such a great experience with the team at Aregis!

Aregis TKD center is wonderful for the entire family. My son and I started in the homeschool program about 7 years ago and both now have our 2nd degree black belt! They have helped me achieve things I never thought possible.
We now continue to train in the evening classes and my husband and my grandson now joined too!

My son is currently a 2nd Degree Black and my daughter a Yellow belt at Aregis. They have learned so many life skills while attending Aregis. The instructors are amazing - professional, caring and instrumental in teaching fundamentals of the sport as well as how to be a good student and steward of society. I trust my children to be in their supervision and care. For the price, you can't get a better experience! I recommend all parents to send their children to Aregis!

Aregis Taekwondo Center deserves so much more than 5 stars and kind words. The first question I ask my son after every single lesson is "did you have fun?" He has been going for a little over 6 months now and I've yet to hear anything other than a "yes" in response. My son isn't one to lie to spare feelings, if he isn't having fun you're going to know about it! In the time he has been enrolled I've yet to walk through the doors and not be greeted with a smile and welcoming attitudes. My kids have been going to Aregis Taekwondo center now for several years! Mr. Aregis and his staff are amazing. They offer child pick up from school which has helped me the most through the years. Also available in summer for working parents and available on snow days when school is out ! I could not ask for a more professional caring team of people. The children are taught discipline and respect at an early age which is a life lesson that all children need. Me and my husband highly recommend this school!

Our son tried so many team sports 🏀 programs before trying Taekwando. Not only is an individual sport the best opportunity for him, but he goes at his own pace! Taekwando has taught him some very difficult lessons in patience, obedience, listening, and humility. But even more importantly, lessons are taught on being courageous and brave and having self-discipline! Mr. Aregis and Mr. Thorpe run an excellent school! We are so glad to call this place out Taekwando home! Come join us!

My wife and son both earned their Second Degree Black Belts through Aregis. I started last year and have been working through my colored belts. Sr. Master Aregis and Master Thorpe along with all of the other instructors are encouraging, motivating, challenging, and most of all knowledgeable on how to empower the students to be the best they can be. You will not receive anything you do not earn.

I cannot say enough great things about Aregis Taekwondo! My two young sons are in the Little Dragons program and along with teaching them the basics of Taekwondo, they also teach them about respect, discipline, manners, courtesy, etc.
The entire staff at Aregis Taekwondo are first class. They are very hands-on and truly care about the kids. Here, we don't feel like we are just a "number" or just "another customer". I highly recommend Aregis Taekwondo to anyone! Two thumbs up!
