Worked with Shannon for about 3 months before moving back home. Best investment into my personal safety I could ever make. With my weird work schedule, it was great to work 1:1 with him plus he was super flexible. Excellent instructor!! When I come back to Nashville, will gladly come back for more training.

Shannon is an awesome instructor! He let me organize a small group for an hour and a half self defense session. We got hands-on training and ran realistic drills. Super helpful - and fun with music! We all left with new skills and knowledge of self defense, which I am very grateful for.

I highly recommend Shannon! I came in with a decent level of fitness but with no experience in Krav Maga or any self-defense training. I left one class feeling already so much more prepared to fight in a real-life situation. It is one-on-one training so you get full attention where you can sharpen your knowledge, skills, and tactics. I loved that it was played out realistically and not just hypothetically, so you can practice the moves with actual force. This is a must!!!

Shannon is an exceptional instructor. Through the class, he is empowering me to be instinctively protective and fight back. I like that he simulates real-world scenarios so I can learn to know how to immediately react when attacked. He is personable and very likable. I have been studying with Shannon for about 6 months. He is an excellent instructor and has increased my awareness and ability to respond defensively with his vast knowledge of the art and friendly but no nonsense approach. This is great class for anyone, regardless of age who wants to feel more confident and able to react to challenging situations. I've been training weekly with Shannon at MCKM for over a year now, and it's one of the best decisions I've made. Shannon's an excellent instructor. He knows his stuff. And while he's patient, he'll make you work. And that's what you want. I've learned a great deal since I started, and I look forward to continuing my training.
