Legion Jiu-Jitsu in Murfreesboro is a safe and friendly environment for my son. He’s 5 years old and has a great time with all the other kids in and around his age. We’ve been members at Legion for about 5 months now. Professor Gabriel and Coach Jared does an outstanding job with the Little Legionnaires. They instill confidence and discipline in a positive environment. I highly recommend Legion for kids.

My son has been attending classes here for 8 months now. I have been very impressed with both Coach Jared and Professor Gabriel. They are the perfect balance of business and fun. It has been great exercise as well as self defense and confidence building for my son. I would definitely recommend any of the kids classes for your children young and older.

The anxiety that I felt when first walking through these doors was almost overwhelming. I knew no one and was about to take a huge step outside my comfort zone. I managed to bring myself to walk through the doors and am so glad that I made that decision. Everyone inside that building immediately made me feel like I belonged, making me feel like part of a big family from day one. The amount of time and effort put into each Legion facility is above and beyond any competitor. The professors deeply care about each individuals growth as a Jiu Jitsu practitioner and the amount of hours that they make

Legion Jiu Jitsu is Murfreesboro is a great place for anyone looking to train Jiu Jitsu at any level. Professor Gabriel really brings his knowledge and experience and makes everyone feel welcome. Programs are family friendly and I and my kids look forward to classes. At age 35, my only regret is that I did not start training sooner.

Staff is very friendly, other students are friendly, helpful and inviting. Facilities are very clean. Emails if there are going to be closures (very rare) for an emergency repair or holiday.
I moved here from out of state and trained at a few gyms there that I absolutely loved. The staff at Legion made my transition easy because of the great atmosphere. Felt like home right away.

Our son Joshua has been attending Legion Jiu Jitsu/Checkmat since their first night opening on March 1, 2018 at the Murfreesboro, TN location. Professor Gabriel has such grace and dignity with which he carries himself permeates the attitude throughout the entire school. He is there personally teaching and instructing classes all of the time. He is one of the finest patient coaches you can find anywhere. He is always willing to explain both the physical/technical as well as spiritual breakdown of the art of Jiu Jitsu. We plan to have our son continue his education in the art of Jiu Jitsu with Legion

I have two boys in very different age groups and they are getting the best training out there. Every age group has tailored classes to keep them engaged while pushing them at the same time. I couldn’t be happier. After starting tournaments with the gym I see our kids are getting far superior lessons then most. If you are serious about doing BJJ and want a family atmosphere then you cannot beat legion.

We just moved to the area and Jiu Jitsu was one of the first things on our list to find for my son and I. We have been training for years and wanted to get right to it. Legion has been the most welcoming family to us. We feel like we have joined an amazing group of people and professors. We love the atmosphere, the learning and the push going on here.
