We are committed to providing comprehensive services and treatment to all patients and offer the most skilled dental personnel to maintain your dental health. General dentistry is the branch of medicine involving the care and prevention of oral health conditions, diseases and disorders. Unlike other whitening systems, Zoom! Whitening is a simple and short procedure performed by our dentists.
Dr. Thomas grew up in Valdosta, GA where she attended Valdosta State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Afterwards, she attended the Medical College of Georgia where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2007. Dr. Thomas has proudly served the community of Austell since 2011.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Hinman Dental Society, North Georgia Dental Society, American Orthodontic Society, and the Georgia Dental Association.Dr. Thomas is a strong advocate of comprehensive dental care and believes teeth should not only be beautiful but healthy as well.

Teresa has enjoyed being a team member of East West Dental since 2008. She has had success in the dental arena for over twenty five years beginning with her tenure in the United States Navy. Teresa has excelled in the roles of Lead Dental Assistant, Treatment Coordinator, Patient liaison, and Financial Coordinator.

I just want to say scheduling online was so easy and convenient I am so happy they were able to take care of my dental emergency before my vacation. Thank you, Dr. Thomas for getting me out of pain before the Holidays! Magnolia and Brittany were great, just wanted to wish you and your team a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! They said they were in network. Insurance said cleanings are covered. The hygenist said that she will doing a standard peri cleaning. I was shown the sheet of charges and it showed that insurance only would cover 17.50 and that I need to pay $176 for my cleaning. I was there and needed the cleaning so I did it. However, it should have been explained that my cleaning was not standard and thats why insurance would not cover it. I asked how does a patient get a standard cleaning if they don't want all the bells and whistles of this extra stuff they did. She said the hygenist does the cleaning she

I have always had wonderful experiences at East West Family Dental. The staff is very professional and I am always seen very promptly. They are always respectful of my time and I rarely have to wait. The hygienist takes the time to explain every service and each procedure, and answers all questions carefully. Dr. Thomas clearly outlined any potential concerns and gave specific tips on how to care for my teeth to prevent any problems. Dr. Thomas is very patient and answered all of my questions.

I’ve had a great experience until most recently. The customer service has changed drastically. It’s been an ardous task to get clarification on changes due to the pandemic. They implemented new unknown charges that they didn’t email or update clients on upon arrival. When asked what the charges are for they explained if i remember correctly for PPE and safety updates due to covid which makes sense but the roll out was completely unprofessional. I loved this place and the staff but i haven’t been back due to how this has been handled as well as who ever calls to set the appointments show

I was able to make an appointment + be seen the very next day. They took me back incredibly fast! The x-rays were done with state of the art equipment and with ease. The hygienist did her overview and Dr. Thomas came in moments later. I was in/out very quick. The team was organized, friendly and professional + the office was extremely clean. I need a ton of work done, but feel in very great hands. Would absolutely recommend!

The staff at East-West Family Dental was great. The Dentist Dr. Thomas was amazing. She was caring, gentle, and showed genuine concerned about her patients. she was concerned about there health, there problems, and whatever else you wanted and had to say. She was nothing short of Amazin. I would recommend this location to all my family, friends and even those that I don't know. Love this location.

Delightful staff, conscientious about billing, they have reliable notification systems to help you keep/reschedule your appointments, modern facilities, and very accommodating in terms of helping you understand insurance coverage. However, the best thing I like about East West Family Dental is that they are respectful of your time. If you have something of concern, they're going to take the necessary time to talk with you about it. Otherwise come in- get your treatments done and you're on your way! Just cool people!

Today was my very first visit. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas. The office staff were very friendly and professional. They are following guidelines and are very clean. Brittany is the best hygienist around town. She was very gentle and informative. I was explained everything from beginning to end. The best dental experience in Austell.

My first experience with this practice was very satisfying but I have to have a different opinion this time. My oldest daughter, 18 years old age, only had an appointment for cleaning. I can only say she was taken advantage of because they conducted more just by telling her it "needs to be done." The next thing, I received a bill in the mail outside of the appointment suggested. In a professional setting, I believe they should have reached out to a parent (adult) and got authorization to perform the procedure instead of just telling an 18 year old what needs to be done. Dr. Thomas was super super sweet. However due to the pick and grind from her hygienist that caused my gums to bleed excessively (when I clearly stated I have sensitive gums) I will not return. My other dentist did not tolerate hygienists who caused that much patient discomfort with bleeding gums. My teeth hurt for more than 2 hours after she was done. Going to the dentist should be pleasant. Today my bp was high and she asked if I suffer from high bp. I had to let her know that it was high because of the gum probing. I've never had a dentist pick my gums testing for the type of cleaning needed

I have never had such a painful dental experience in my life! On my initial visit everything went quick, smooth and professional. There were some things that needed treating that require a insurance approval. Dr. Tia came in to see me. She was very professional as were her staff. On my second visit. I received my deep cleaning which was not as bad as I thought. The hygienist was splendid. She was knowledgeable and professional. I was then taken to another room to see the dentist. It was NOT Dr. Tia to my surprise but a male dentist (Dr. Levine). He was prepping me for My permanent crown and also

Since Dr. hendricks left the service has become unacceptable. I absolutely felt at my last visit here that the dentist was looking for something wrong with my teeth in order to make addditional profits. I take good care of my teeth, brushing and flossing regularly and getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months. I never had any issues until the new dentist said I needed a root canal for a tooth which I had no issues with. I immediately went to another dentist and paid out of pocket for an xray. I never mentioned what the East West dentist said about me needing a root canal. The new dentist said
