Driven by an interest in studying consciousness and a sincere desire to help others, Marla has experienced a variety of yoga and meditation styles. She has found herself in love with Kundalini Yoga, because "it works." By working with specific kriyas and meditations, she has found it possible to target issues in herself and her clients, such as anxiety and depression, experiencing notable results of deepened awareness, calmness and well-being.
To register by computer, go to our Online Schedule and sign-up. By phone, install the free Mindbody app, and sign-up for the Mandala classes of your choice. 15-20 minutes prior to class start time, the instructor of the class will email you a direct link to join class. We recommend joining the class early, in case you have any technical difficulties.

Authentic kundalini yoga and a beautiful space. We had a very powerful class today at Mandala- it's an amazing mix of movement, chanting and meditation. Sigma is a gifted and powerful guide and creates a comfortable and conducive environment to have a deep personal experience as well as a group connection.
Well worth the drive from across town and I'm looking forward to coming back.

Sometimes it almost feels like you didn't do much (I guess depending on the instructor you go to that could change, I haven't been to them all), but you feel SO GOOD after. It's incredible. Give one of the kundalini classes a try. I can see why it may not be for everyone, but I didn't think it was for me before I tried it so it's worth a shot. Initially I walked in just wanting to check out the space and feel out the vibe, but I walked in a little too close to the start of class and everyone was ready to get started so I just went with it and ended up signing up for their

I'm so grateful for the community of teachers at Mandala. This yoga studio is warm, open, accepting and is a space where students are truly supported in finding their inner strength - and in whatever way that may look like. They do not prescribe one way to do yoga, but instead support community members in creating their own personal practice.
Veronika Volger, Signa Cheney, Ajeet Kaur & Sat Narayan Singh in particular have been valuable guides for me, although I have truly enjoyed each instructor at Mandala that I have taken a class with (and there have been yoga teachers at other studios

Signa is a Goddess ~ seriously! All of the instructors are amazing though. One of the things I love about this place is the community, however. There are no ego's here. It's super chill. If your looking for an inviting space to practice yoga, check out Mandala. Kundalini yoga literally changed my life. I can't recommend this place highly enough

I can't speak highly enough about this studio. This comes from someone who has really struggled to find a studio that I could call "home" - from the space set up, the music, the instructors, the overall vibe (calm, spiritual)... it's just perfection. I did the Kundalini class with Signa this week and I was blown away at what it stirred in me, so I followed up with a more energetic Vinyasa class today - both were truly wonderful classes.

Not to mention, this isn't a pretentious studio that feels like their better than yours. If you sign up for a class on the Mind Body

LOVE Mandala... A really loving, inclusive space where I get to gaze inward safely and compassionately. The space's energy is beautiful. Love Signa and Willow's classes!!

Also really love how generous the studio is with their resources; I never need to bring a mat or anything because they provide it all (free of cost)!! Truly unique feature, and truly appreciated.

Portland has lots of great yoga studios and still Mandala Yoga carves out a unique space for itself. Very soothing, meditative, spiritual. I've been to two different types of classes and loved them for both similar and different reasons.

Gentle on Sundays is a great way to wake up and kick off the day. Part meditation, part restorative, part gentle yoga. I don't know of another class quite like it. I've also attended Hatha on a weekday night. A nice workout, while still gentle in many ways. I don't know if they do it this way every time or not, but at the end, the teacher rang

Kundalini yoga has been a game changer for me. This is the studio that introduced me to it. I've experimented with various types of meditation and yoga on and off over the years-- Restorative, Acro, Iyengar, Power, Bikram, Gentle, Vinyasa, etc, etc.

My mind is rarely ever quiet. There's a slew of thoughts bouncing around in my head constantly. I really enjoy and benefit from meditation, but Kundalini takes me a lot further. I can't explain Kundalini well and I am quite new to it-- but it combines movement, chanting, singing, repetitive movement. It's a very spiritual experience

This is the home of kundalini yoga in Portland. If you resonate with Yogi Bhajan's teachings, you will find many seasoned teachers here in a high vibrational studio. Experience the transformation for yourself!

This is a great place to learn and practice yoga. I started just one year ago and their open-heartedness, patience, and skill have been nothing but phenomenal. When I first walked in, I felt like I was joining family and was welcomed with warmth. Alexandra Jackiw is the yoga teacher that I first met and she is still my teacher in Hatha Yoga, and there are no words of praise I can say that fully illustrates the excellence of her teaching of me and of other students. Due to vacations, etc. other Mandala Yoga teachers have been there in Alexandra's place, and all have the same warmth and patience

I discovered Mandala Yoga about a year ago and loved it immediately. The studio has wonderful, calming energy and the instructors are great. I especially love therapeutic yoga with Michelle, but all the classes I've attended have been excellent. They have a wide range of classes for all levels and lots of nice touches like the free tea. I've tried a few other studios in Portland but this one is my absolute favorite.

In addition to traditional classes, Mandala has amazing concerts and events, including a monthly healing gong meditation that is out of this world. Their class schedule is

This studio is the the yoga version of "Miyagi Know Karate Dojo". Please pardon my dated movie reference but it is to make the point, that mandala is special, no frills just real yoga. I find the heart of yoga is rarely experienced in the modern day yoga studio and for that reason hold places mandala in high regard. Owe yah and kundalini is awesome!

I've been taking yoga classes at Mandala Yoga for about a year, it's the second studio I've tried in Portland, and I love it. The couple who run it are lovely, friendly people, and they make everyone welcome. Every instructor I've encountered there has made me feel comfortable and like I can challenge myself without judgment. The best thing about Mandala is that there are a variety of types of yoga being taught at different schedules, which is great for someone like me who's only tried yoga a couple times before and wanted to try out different styles. They encourage new

This is one of the most beautiful, comfortable and well run yoga studios in Portland. Which is saying a lot since there are so many fine ones in town. In particular Pamela Sery's Sunday classes are a highlight for me, a very creative Vinyasa flow class at 5:30 pm followed by a sweet Yin class with earth gong and bells at 7 pm. She has an energetic, welcoming and fun style and is so experienced at what she does - observant, helpful, subtle, funny, intuitive. She's always open and loves to converse with her students - This time slot has become the anchor of my yoga practice week!

I've been doing yoga (hatha, vinyasa, iyengar) for 15 years and now I'm 26 weeks along the way. So I've switched to prenatal yoga and have been trying so many classes in Portland over the past 5 months. It was not until yesterday that I started going to Vani's class at Mandala Yoga. I have to say it's one of the best! Not only that she is a very kind and compassionate instructor, but she's also doula, a mother and a grandmother too! So she knows exactly what we pregnant women are looking for in our practice. Before, I thought prenatal yoga is all about hip opening

Awesome studio. I have been to classes with about 5 different instructors there, across many styles, and they have all been great. This is an exceptionally well curated, yet eclectic studio for beginners to quite season practitioners. All ages, shapes, sizes and abilities seem welcome and gracefully accommodated.

This yoga studio is such an amazing gift! I was so thrilled with how the owner Signa brings down the full yoga experience, I bought a membership after attending various classes for a couple months. Serious yogis will really appreciate the pranayama and kundalini yoga offerings and revel as I do in the sound healing aspects of bells and gongs and sitar in addition to the harmonium. The lovely studio has a treetop view of Mt. Tabor and the cafe next door is there to shore you up after a great class.
