After a life-threatening event in 2002, Tammy Jo Long took stock of her life as a technology executive in Chicago and decided changes were needed. She took a weekend getaway to Savannah, Ga and fell in Love with the magical city! So, she quit her lucrative job and decided buying and restoring dilapidated homes to their former Southern glory in Savannah GA was her new calling.
Savannah has plenty of restaurants and dining options that combine fantastic food with their famous Southern hospitality. Savannah museums, galleries, and theatre showcase the best of the city's culture, history, and arts. With a rich history and a charming air, it is no wonder why vacationers flock to Tybee Island, GA.
The best time to visit Savannah is from March to July when the weather is warm and pleasant and the flowers are in full bloom. Mid to late summer can bring extreme heat and humidity which can make it unpleasant for some visitors. The winter months of January and February is low season - at this time you will see a drop in the temperatures.
Savannah is one of the oldest cities in the the U.S., and unsurprisingly, there are dozens of unique buildings around town with historical character and charm. Some of our favorite wedding Venues in Savannah, GA are an old military fort, a converted warehouse, and a former railroad station. While definitely non-traditional, these unexpected venues guarantee that your wedding day will be a memorable, one-of-a-kind celebration.
50% of rental amount is due on booking. The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to arrival date. A 3.5% per day interest fee will be charged for all unpaid balances within 60 days prior to arrival date. Once the deposit is charged, the reservation is considered confirmed and the terms of the cancellation policy are binding.

After our stay at the Wedding Cake Mansion for our wedding weekend, Luxury Living charged us $1,350 for "damaged furniture". They said the we put a hairline crack in a head board of one of the beds and broke the leg off of a table (which was fully intact when we left). Neither of these things were broken by our guests. They charged my credit card without even initially talking with me. This was a really disappointing end to our wedding weekend. There are better houses to stay at in Savannah that you do not have the hassle of unjust charges after your stay.

Booked a 3-night stay through Luxury Living Savannah and was very excited for our trip. The night before we were scheduled to arrive, a family member passed away. We tried calling the company and requested a refund. The woman who answered the phone berated me and told me that I was stupid for not buying additional travel insurance. She lacked any empathy at all and did not even acknowledge that a family member had passed the night before. It was shocking to go from a loss in the family to getting yelled at by the representative. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

We recently stayed in the Washington Square House, and we loved every second of it. The house is meticulously clean, and absolutely stunning. Each bedroom has a huge attached bathroom, and the living room, kitchen, and courtyard are so inviting that you will want to move in! I highly recommend Luxury Living Savannah's Washington Square House.

Very tastefully decorated, well appointed, in the very best locations, and clean. When I say clean I mean so spotless you feel like you are the first guest to enjoy the property. My extended family stayed at two of Luxury Living Savannah's properties, the Wedding Cake Mansion and the Washington Square House for a family reunion. The properties and the company far exceeded our expectations. The properties were clean, well maintained, and impeccably decorated. The management was responsive and professional. Luxury Living Savannah has been around for 15 + years and they do everything first class. I highly recommend!!

My stay at Captain's View on Tybee Island was wonderful! The views were fabulous and we enjoyed the most amazing sunsets! We had everything we needed and more. I had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The owner was so easy to work with and anticipated our every need. They even provided a spot-on list of restaurants and attractions. I am already planning my next visit to a Luxury Living property. I have a new goal to stay at all of these properties. On my next trip, I am going to one of the historical properties in town. Can't wait!

The first time I rented from Luxury Living was 2012 and I’ve rented from them 2 or 3 times every year since. (Yes, we love Savannah! 😁) Without a doubt, this is the best rental company in Savannah. Amazingly beautiful properties, all of them in great locations. Each property have been beautifully restored, with careful attention to all the details that make a rental a true ‘home away from home’. Best of all, the rentals are meticulously clean.
