C4 Performance Training is a local youth and adult athletic training company that prides itself on working with adult and kids of all abilities and goals. We specialize in working with adult and youth athletes from all sports in the Philadelphia suburbs and the Main Line. There are many variables that influence our curriculum such as: chronological age, mental age, nature of the sport an athlete plays, and individual needs of an athlete.
C4 is different because we set up our programs to give the individual what they need to reach their goals in a safe and effective manner. This is done through our Adult Fitness, Youth Fitness, Medical Fitness, and Back 2 Field programs. Clients are provided with the resources to succeed in and out of the gym.
We could not be happier with our experience at C4 performance and Mike McGee. Our two children, Mitchell and Morgan, ages 15 and 17, had ACL tears and reconstructive surgery. This is a 10 month recovery process. After each one completed the initial physical therapy they went to work with Mike McGee at C4. Mike was fantastic in preparing them to pass the "return to play" test.
We set the standard for quality in group fitness training. The variety of programs, value and level of quality are unmatched in the neighborhood. We may be an old school gym, but we are with the times and provide contemporary classes in various disciplines, including Yoga, Pilates and Boxing. If you love exercising outdoors, and get a thrill from bootcamp-style fitness classes which challenge your whole body, you'll love HIT.
PRE-SEASON: C4 youth strength training will prepare you for an upcoming tryout or season as well as tournaments, showcases, and races. IN-SEASON: C4 youth strength training will keep you fit and healthy throughout the season. We will get you back on the field quickly and safely if injured. C4 will help you recover from an existing injury and reduce the likelihood of future injury.

We've had a few of our own kids go thru C4 Performance Training over the past several years and the end results have been nothing short of PERFECT! For the athletes (our kids), if they needed help with speed & agility / the training would put an emphasis on their footwork / agility, etc. and their desired improvements were more than met. Most recently, our son had been excelling in all his training at a great pace (with overall leg / lower body strength, speed / even flexibility improvements as well). He needed help getting his upper body stronger in one area - and within 2 months of one on one

The concept is simple. Develop more well rounded athletes that have balanced agility, flexibility, strength and mental toughness and the athletes will spend less time healing injuries and more time being competitive. My son spent almost 7 years training at C4 and paid for the experience with his own money the last three because the benefits were that clear.
I would strongly recommend any athlete that is looking to gain a competitive edge at least try C4 for a month. Whether you have a dominant sport and you want to be more balanced or you realize the value of developing more holistically I doubt

The coaches, the facility and the overall atmosphere at C4 are awesome! My daughter has worked with Coach Mike and has only good things to say.. They teach kid's how to properly work out as safely as possible while making it fun. I recommend C4 for all!

My kids have been going to C4 for years and we love it! The group training sessions are a perfect fit especially for my now middle schooler (started in elementary school) who isn’t a big fan of traditional team sports but who I want to exercise several times per week. The cross fit style classes are great because everyone can challenge themselves and work within their own comfort zone, while being instructed and offered modifications if they need them. My daughter sees several familiar faces there and they love to challenge each other as well :-) every class is different so she’s not bored

Can’t say enough wonderful things about C4! My children have benefited greatly from their programs. From helping them get back in shape after an injury to helping them condition before and during the season. Mike and Sam make it fun yet challenging and somehow keep the kids motivated. My oldest is in college and knows how to work out properly thanks to C4.
