Practice yoga outdoors on the rooftop of The Riley Building in downtown Austin on Sundays at 10:30am. The open-air space allows for yoga year-round, and includes retractable roofing, heaters, and fans.

Anne Marie's classes combine the physical and mental stretch and focus I'm looking for from a practice with an education on technique and form. These elements are not separate so I don't have to compromise. I've been practicing with Kaylee for two years now and I've seen an amazing improvement in many aspects of my life.
After two decades of moving in and out of yoga practice in studios across Austin and a few other cities across the country, I've certainly experienced a wide variety of teaching styles. Of the many and varied, there are only a tiny handful of teachers whose presence and words have remained an ongoing inspiration in my practice, both inwardly and outwardly.
Anne Marie does go slower than other instructors but I love it! She's great at explaining proper alignment and holding the poses longer makes it more challenging. She might be my favorite instructor so far. Anne Marie has an excellent way of guiding you through poses and explaining how to make adjustments that improve your practice.
Based on your group's experience level and desired style of yoga, Austin Private Yoga's teachers will meet you right where you are. Vegan, vegetarian, and omnivorous cuisine, with fresh, local ingredients for each creative dish. Brunch, snacks, and dinner options available. Yoga Nidra, Guided Breathwork, Mindfulness, and Loving Kindness meditations are all options when choosing a meditation style for your retreat.

I highly recommend Austin Private Yoga if you prefer 1:1 classes or just want to get some more feedback on your form, or whatever. I went to see Anne Marie because I was having some pretty intense joint paint which seemed weird because I was getting so regular with yoga. I didn't understand why I was always sore or in pain. With the private session I was able to learn more about what I was doing incorrectly in terms of form, and made adjustments accordingly. I've felt pretty good sense then. I also just enjoyed the experience and 1:1 time, as most teachers don't really give you much feedback because

What an amazing experience - Anne Marie was simply the best! I worked with Anne Marie and Austin Private Yoga to book a private yoga session during a girls trip to Austin. Throughout the planning process she was super responsive and extremely easy to work with. She arrived on time and lead an absolutely amazing yoga session on the rooftop of our hotel, Inn Cahoots. She tailored the session to our group and offered modifications when necessary to match all skill levels. Can’t recommend Austin Private Yoga highly enough!

Anne Marie was AMAZING!! My friends and I were in town for a bachelorette party and Anne Marie worked with me ahead of time to understand the various levels of yoga experience we all had and a themed playlist for our private in-home session. She was very responsive to emails and texts, arrived early to set up, and was helpful during the class. The best instructor and I would recommend her to anyone!!

I have been going to Anne Marie’s public classes for years, she is one of my favorite teachers, and her private yoga lessons are outstanding! Austin Private Yoga is hands down one of the top experiences I’ve had with a yoga teacher. Anna Marie is gentle and easy to follow. She makes her classes accessible to all skill levels with clear instruction as well as knowledge of human anatomy and how it relates to each asana. Anne Marie is hands down my favorite teacher in the Austin area! With careful attention on breath and technique, I step off my mat every time feeling aligned and alive. Anne-Marie’s style of teaching is really focused and intentional without being stressful. I had problems with my tailbone and sacrum area when I started practicing. Anne-Marie is honestly one of the only teachers whose been able to help me really target that area with my practice and she’s helped me find genuine healing. Her presence on and off the mat is really encouraging and positive. Highly recommend the experience.

Anne Marie is for sure a sacred piece of the austin yoga community! She creates a safe container for her students to expand their personal practice. She often will have a theme for the month for her classes focusing on different parts of the body and she has helped me tremendously!!! Her hands on assists and instructions are top notch. When I started Yoga, I was a bit overwhelmed with it all. Anne Marie's welcoming and calming teaching style eased me into being more confident and relaxed in our sessions. I cannot overstate how much her adjustments are spot on and helped my form immensely.
