Calmere Estate Winery
The Peju sisters, Lisa and Ariana, moved to the Napa Valley when they were ages six and three. Their parents Tony and Herta (H.B) Peju purchased 30 acres of vineyard in Rutherford that is now home to the iconic PEJU Winery. Lisa and Ariana joined the company and are helping leading the direction of PEJU and Calmere Estate Winery.

In 2016 our family purchased 100 acres in Carneros and a state-of-the-art winery. We have spent two years developing a brand that represents our vision and captures the spirit of this unique property. This cool-climate region is well-known for making world-class Burgundian varietals. The property offers stunning vistas of the San Pablo Bay and the protected wetlands.
Services
Influenced by the cooling effect of the Pacific Ocean and a combination of summer fog, warm days, and a long growing season, the Carneros wine region is an independent American Viticultural Area (AVA).

Carneros became an official AVA in 1983, its unique characteristics based on climate and on its geographic features - the Pacific Ocean, the Coast Mountain Ranges and the San Francisco Bay - that affect the region's terroir and put a distinctive stamp on its grapes. In 2019 we received Fish Friendly Farming certification at Calmere Estate and all of our PEJU vineyard estates.
Whether you're looking to host an intimate gathering for 20 or a corporate dinner for 150, our knowledgeable staff will work with you to develop a memorable wine country experience for you and your guests. We were greeted with delicious bubbles upon arrival and a warm smile. Katie was an incredible host. She served us a variety of delicious wines and the tasting was never ending. She was extremely knowledgeable with the property and the vinification process. We left feeling informed and absolutely satisfied (and a little drunk! Haha). We very much enjoyed their red and white mixed wines, and the stories behind the creation of them. Sometimes wine, like friendship and family, turns out to be the perfect blend. Cheers!

Calmere is NOT DOG FRIENDLY. On their website, they have an image of a dog crossed out, which tells you what they really think about dogs. See photo. In a valley that prides itself on being dog friendly, Calmere stands out as a despicable exception. Dog lovers, take your business elsewhere.

Always an awesome experience
Katey is knowledgeable and well prepared to share her knowledge. Wines are awesome. If you can't find one you love, something is wrong.

We loved this winery! Katie was an amazing host. So knowledgeable, patient and kind with all of our incessant questions. We will be making a beeline straight to Calmere next time we are out in Napa.

Joseph was out of this world with wine knowledge. He was so attentive to our questions and made our experience one that we will never forget. My family really did enjoy this experience and know that we will be back for a second visit sooner than later. Thank you so much! Cheers from San Antonio, Tx.

Calmére winery is such a lovely gem, made even better by Katie, who gave us such a fun, personal experience and shared great information with us as we tasted their delicious wines. Their very unique Peju Province red/white blend was the highlight for us and the three of us left with a case! Their Fifty Fifty cab/merlot blend was also gorgeous! Their wine club also includes wines from and access to their sister winery, Peju. I can't wait to go back.

The tasting room staff made our visit relaxing and fun - thank you! Wines we tasted were all really enjoyable. The Rose of Pinot Noir and 2018 MMXVI Pinot Noir were my favorites.

Such a fun time! This was my boyfriend's and mine first winery experience and it couldn't have been better. The views were incredible and we were informed about so many different wines/ how they're made / the differences between them. It just made the experience a lot more interesting! We would definitely recommend coming here.

My favorite place in Napa. The wine was delicious and the view was beautiful. Melinda was so helpful during our tasting and really made us feel welcome and taken care of while we sat and enjoyed ourselves. I went home with many bottle to enjoy and each time I open one I remember what a great visit it was to Calmere.

What a fantastic experience! I was told by one of our waiters to try this place and we were pleasantly surprised! Melinda made us feel right at home and was very informative about the history of the winery and all the wines that we tried during the tasting.

I tried 5 wines and out of the 5 I loved 4. I bought a case which then washes my tasting fee and I'm thrilled to go home and try these wines with my loved ones!

Everyone must try this winery on there stop to Napa.

I'm going to have to update my review for this place. As Liana, it was 5 stars. Under Calmére, I just can't give it the same high rating. It's a completely different place now than it was-they got rid of their amazing staff that made it stand out. Taylor and Santiago treated us like family, and were always happy to see us as members.

This was always out first stop on our yearly Napa girl's trip, and as members we would meet up there many times throughout the year as well. When it came time to plan a surprise engagement, there was no question we would do it here. New

It was my first trip to Napa & Calmére Estate Winery did not disappoint! Located amongst rows of grape vines & hills it was exactly the beautiful Napa view I was looking for. DEBBIE WAS AMAZING! She was our wine expert & was super attentive & friendly. I was sad that the winery did not accept tips.. so I thought I would at least give her a great review. We went home with two bottles of their Province red & white blend that are super tasty.

Have been here a half dozen times with friends and family. Temperature is always great thanks to the bay breeze that rolls over the hills. Great outdoors and the wines are delicious and affordable, especially their whites and the sparkling rosé.

This winery is truly a hidden gem. A little off the busy winery path but so worth the drive!

Let's begin with the view! Gorgeous views across the Napa Valley, you can even see the Golden Gate on a completely clear day. Beautiful outdoor seating area with Bocce Ball and lovely overhanging olive trees. Tons of shade on a hot day.

This winery has a vast selection of wines for white and red lovers alike. They have a fabulous white blend, a bubbly rose and brut and a flat rose that is extremely tasty. I'm not a huge red fan but I really enjoyed their port. They also have a nice Chardonnay

Dog friendly but also the girls were the stars! My wife's first wine tasting and they made it special. Non rushed and Barlow was able to sit with us on the patio the whole time. While I do not drink I grew up going to winnerys and I could tell my wife really enjoyed the wine so we signed up for the club. Look forward to returning sometime!

Had a great experience here. Came there end of July. I'm a Peju member and there was a deal to use my Peju member benefits and get free tastings at Calmére and a wine discount if we liked anything.

First off, the location, though far from the other wineries, is very peaceful and beautiful. I also like the setup of the winery. It's very trendy and open, whereas Peju is more classic winery and has an Italian vibe.

I called in to make the reservation but we were running late heading into Napa and spent more time at Peju than we thought (which is never a bad thing, IMO hehe) and even

We've been loyal club members so I'm sad to write this warning/review based off an unacceptable experience back in May.

Here's the good. I absolutely love their wines -- we walk out with at least half a case every time I visit. My friends all know this is as hidden gem of a winery I evangelize every chance I get. They've remodeled their tasting rooms for an open, natural feel.

But their customer service was just insulting. We had made a Sunday reservation -- "anytime after 2:30," they said. We showed up at 3:15 and were turned away, since the singular floor manager

Liana Estates has a complicated history, but has a gorgeous winery at the southern end of the Carneros region of Napa Valley. Their winery is fairly far away from Highway 12 and requires appointments for tastings.

I've passed by Liana several times and made a note to book a visit on my latest trip. Their location makes it easy to visit at the beginning or end of your trip. The winery was remodeled to include a large modern tasting room with private areas for club members.

The winery offers many of the traditional Carneros varietals including several sparkling wines. They seemed a bit different

We got here early on a November Saturday morning. We were the 1st to arrive, so we got fabulous service & 1st pick as 2 where 2 lounge. Thanks 2 Peju & our wine club membership there, we received a complimentary tasting 2 give this new winery a shot & I'm glad we did because the white blend is amazing. My husband is not a wine enthusiast & he loved it. After buying 2 bottles of the white blend & tasting their classic flight, we finished the munchies provided, which were cheese, crackers, dried fruit & chocolate, & were on our way. Thank you, Liana, 4 a wonderful
