Hand rehabilitation specialists are real hand experts! I've been to other places that call themselves hand therapy specialists, but after going to Hand Rehabilitation Specialists I know the difference. I’ve seen four therapists at Hand Rehabilitation Specialists, and all are extremely knowledgeable. They tailor the treatment to meet the needs of the patient. Other hand therapy locations I've been to treat all patients the same, and even through the course of my condition were treating me with the same exercises, and never changed my plan. Hand Rehabilitation Specialists are advancing my plan

Laurie and her dedicated staff are one of a kind. Caring, professional and do they know their stuff! I was diagnosed by an orthopedist with carpal tunnel. I found Hand Specialists and signed up for therapy. Laurie requested the xrays from my doctor and went over them extensively. She found not much carpal tunnel but much arthritis. ( MD never mentioned that!)
She adjusted the therapy accordingly and today I graduated. No pain, amazing range of motion and strength. I’m sorry that today was my last visit. Some therapy places have you coming back forever, I can’t stand that. I would like very

After my surgery to repair my pinky flexor tendon, I was referred to Hand Rehabilitation Specialists by my surgeon. Right away at my first visit I was impressed with how professional this office was. The receptionists were very kind and welcoming. The aides made me feel comfortable by having a smile on their face and making conversation and the Therapists were very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. From the first 10 minutes of being in the office, I could tell I was in good hands. I had the opportunity to see one of the Occupational Therapists, Laurie. Laurie has a breadth of knowledge and

I have found Hand Rehabilitation Specialists of Thousand Oaks to be extremely professional and cutting edge in their approach to healing. I broke my wrist and went to two other physical therapy groups before I found this top-notch group. What I found to be different from other groups is their creative skill in personalizing the home exercise sessions, by creating customized exercises and designing/making devices for me to wear that helped increase freedom of movement and flexibility!
After a few sessions I had a follow up visit with my doctor and he was surprised at my improvement, having better

I chose this center for rehab after surgery on my thumb C-MC joint (a TESS procedure) and I'm very happy that I did. I was treated by Laurie Roundtree and found her treatment program to be systematic, thoughtful and very well tailored to my recovery. Making and changing appointments is extremely easy. Highly Recommend.

The treatment I have received from the therapists at Hand Rehabilitation Specialists over the last two months has been outstanding, and has given me faith that, with their help, I will regain full use of my wrist and hand in the near future. The clinic is a comfortable place to receive care, and everyone who works there is professional, pleasant and impressively knowledgeable.

I broke my wrist playing tennis in mid-May and had to have it surgically repaired. Two weeks post surgery, I started therapy with the excellent team at Hand Rehabilitation Specialists. I worked with Heidi, Melissa and Adrienne and their wonderful technical staff twice a week over a 5 month period. They were knowledgable, professional, and compassionate throughout the process. The initial phase focused on movements that helped increase range-of-motion, with strength building exercises added over time. Self-directed home therapy is a key component of their program and so important if you want to
