Where to begin...I absolutely love this place and all of the employees. Truth be told, I'm a plus sized lady. Not that I have a problem with who I am at all. However, others are sometimes less than kind. I have been in some places as I walk in, it's so obvious it's written on their face they wish I go elsewhere. This place is filled with the finest family oriented personal. From the owners, whom I credit with choosing this amazing staff, to each and every working person in the Salon...I "THANK YOU". You're all wonderful people and I truly appreciate that you treat each of us with equal importance

My son got a haircut here. Came with shoulder length hair. Told the hairdresser don't cut it short. Came back and half his hair was cut off. Who does that?! Have some common sense... if someone has hair that long they too a long time to grow it out you don't just cut half off! Kid is damn traumatized over this. Pretty much the same thing that happened to Matt D. More than a years worth of growth lopped off like it's not big deal.

I walked in and noticed the salon was absolutely clean and professional looking. Angela was the lady who did my hair and who i recommend highly! She took her time with the consultation and asked how I styles my hair on a daily basis. She took her time with my highlights and made great conversation. Everyone seemed very friendly! My haircut came out amazing as well!!

This is the only place I get my haircut, a men's haircut to be precise. They're a bit more than a barber, but to me it's absolutely worth it, without question, because 1) they do a better job in my opinion, and 2) I don't get my haircut very frequently, so a haircut from them lasts several months.
If you go, ask for Sheena, she's cut my hair for a long time, and will hopefully keep cutting it for the foreseeable future.
On top of that, everyone there is just nice and accommodating. If you don't mind spending a few extra dollars over a barber, this is the place to go.

5 stars isn’t enough stars for Salon 877. I was here yesterday and had the pleasure of having my hair done by Madison. Not every stylist can do blonde “the right way” (if you know, you know) but Madison blew it out of the park. I literally gave her the smallest guideline and then put my trust into her hands! 10/10 would recommend (to the point where my next appointment is already booked).

This was my first experience with this salon. I booked an appointment for last week and then I was called to cancel it because the hairstylist was sick, which was understandable. I was offered an appointment after one week, and then 15 minutes before the appointment I was told that the hairstylist was stuck in traffic and was not going to make it. The person on the phone (who was not the hairstylist) offered no apologies, and when I enquired further, she became hostile and hanged up on me. I am absolutely stunned at my ash blonde hair color, compliments of Madison. She is extremely talented and I am so very happy I decided to try this salon. The owner of this salon is the rudest person I've ever meet. My hair came out nothing like what I wanted and my hair is Brassy. My hair doesn't make sense at all the side of my head looks like a completely different person compared to the back. I kindly asked for some sort of refund but automatically got treated like a pest. Didn't listen to me and wanted to get me out. Offered me a 25 dollar refund for a almost 200 dollar job that is completely not what i wanted. Was being rude and dismissive. Had a hair cut and it ended up being uneven. Went in the next day and asked to have the cut corrected. The rude receptionist was not accommodating at all. The stylist was not there and I was told I would be charged if another stylist corrected the cut. I called the next day went in and still had to wait when my stylist blocked off a time to correct my cut. I showed how my hair was uneven, the front of my hair was darker there were no highlights in the front. I paid over $300, very disappointed and would not recommend. I have never written a review for anything. I moved to this area and my friend recommended this salon for color and cut. What I wanted unfortunately I did not get. She was very nice however did not know how to color hair. My hair turned brassy and orange and colored my gray roots however after 1 wash I saw them again. They use a very cheap coloring and conditioning product. My hair was stiff and falling out when she went to blow dry it. 5 days later it's still dry and stiff. Plus my gray roots can be seen. My color is a disaster. Can't wait to get it fixed. Def not going back there to

I have been a regular client of my stylist for...many years. I use him alone and follow his recommendations. More recently, I have needed a bit of hiding of my gray hair (being blond, this is less frequent and later in my life). I only go to Maureen, who worked with my stylist from the beginning, and I trust her completely. She knows that, being a natural blond, I see no need to "make myself blond." I showed multiple pictures of the hair color and style i desired. I left with orange clumps in my hair and chunky dyed hair. Dissatisfied, I called to have my hair fixed. The second time I came in on June 14th, and left happier - until I looked in the mirror and realized from each profile view, I looked like two different people. This place is definitely expensive. The owner has been cutting my hair during the last year, and I was never quite satisfied with either the quality of cut and service. Salon 877 is convenient and massive, but you may not get the attention I, for one, hoped.
Yesterday I went to Joe at Haircutters, in White Plains. That's where I'll be going as long as I'm living in Westchester. (Check out my Haricutters review.) Joe's cheaper and offered me a much better cut at 1/3 the price than Salon 877.
In short, Salon 877 is convenient (e.g. online booking), but expensive and lesser

High end prices with budget results. Go there ONLY if you want a bad cut & Color.
I had my hair cut, colored & highlighted 3 days before I went on vacation. {This was my THIRD highlighting appointment within 7 months.} On the second day of my vacation when I was doing my hair - actually fighting with my hair to get it under control because of the bad cut - I noticed a root line!!!! My hair does not grow fast enough where there would be a root line after 5 days - does anyones? The poor coloring job came with dye stains on my neck and forehead.
I have no problem paying for quality work
