Orchard Restaurant
We believe dining is and should be an experience, one of discovery and connection. With sustainability the bottom line, we will butcher and dry-age whole animals, make our own pasta and bread, and preserve the bounty that the surrounding area has to offer. Orchard was conceived in 2017 by owner Greg Apt who grew up on an orchard in the Wenatchee Valley.

Greg built Orchard as a place to highlight local foods and the skill of his chefs as they take the best local ingredients and create edible artwork. The open kitchen concept gives diners a unique perspective and allows them to watch the chefs in action as they prepare foods that are as impressive to look at as they are to eat.

Holy cow. Health and safety standards batman, seriously lying about it. No one is wearing a mask.
Host not only extremely rude and proud of not being Vaxxed, but also stating no one working here is and telling us we better scoot and leave.
Not that they care about my comment.
This is why we are not out of the moat...

My wife and I went to Orchard for dinner based on reviews and we're not disappointed. Great food, great service, intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Ok I have no idea why this place ranks so high , the only reason I will give it a 3 star is because the staff seemed very nice and polite , we came for my daughter bday and ordered everything at once and it took 1.5 hrs for food to arrive lol mind you we ordered pasta / apps , nothing ridiculous , portions are so tiny we had to go and grab pizza after because everyone was starving , and this place was way overpriced , pork belly was the worst thing I've had , everything was fat , so if you like fat only than get it . The French 75 drink was the only thing I enjoyed ! It's a cute place

Incredible food! I highly recommend doing the chef selected courses- you can't go wrong! The food was absolutely divine and much more than I had anticipated. We stopped in as a last minute decision for Christmas Eve and were treated to the most delectable food I've had in a long time. The cauliflower was such an amazing combination of flavors, and the risotto was some of the best I've had. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection as well.
The owner, Greg, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. He even brought out a special plate of fruit for our 4-year old! I should add

Beautiful and thoughtfully executed from the exposed wood walls to the phenomenal mushroom and beef marmalade gnocchi. The staff was attentive and friendly and our experience was delightful. What a gem!

While everyone we interacted with here was delightful and kind, the food was definitely subpar and flavorless.
We got the pork belly, Ahi nachos and Ragu.
The pork belly was very tough and seemed to be over cooked. The sauce was good, but ultimately, my husband felt a little sick after eating it.
The Ahi tacos were o.k. Nothing to write home about. I wouldn't recommend them, but wouldn't recommend against them.
The Ragu felt like they completely missed out on putting any spices in and the meat was overcooked and chewy- which was odd.

So, loved the servers and ambiance- but we came

We had dinner on New Years Eve at the Orchard and it was excellent! They had a 4 course or 6 course dinner to choose from. A vinaigrette cauliflower with raisins, squash risotto with pumpkin seeds, cranberries and micro greens, hazelnut steelhead and a goat cheese panacotta with pot de creme. Each course was excellent! It’s definitely fine dining. As much as I eat out and as much as I cook, all 4 courses I’ve never had before nor cooked before which is what I’m always looking for when I eat out, something new to try. The wait staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. Great ambiance too

I had really high hopes for this restaurant based on the menu, but this was honestly a disappointing evening. Upon entering the restaurant for our reservation we were completely ignored for the first few minutes. We were eventually seated behind a large table of approximately 20 people. The group was incredibly loud, screaming across their table and yelling profanities. Our table and the other tables surrounding them were visibly irritated but no one from management spoke to them or came over to apologize to anyone for the poor experience. As far as the food, it was hit and miss. Two guests in

Called in for a reservation at 7:15 pm. Came in and was sat down within 5 minutes of arriving in a nice little corner of the restaurant. Ordered a beer and house wine for my wife. Miles the waiter was awesome and really friendly and nice. Atmosphere of the place was awesome the whole entire time.
Pork belly- nice rich favor in the pork and the cranberry and parsnips purée were awesome along with it.
Gnocchi- came with mushrooms and huckleberry's that my wife really enjoyed. The blue cheese was her selling point she really enjoyed the entree
Steelhead- I absolutely loved the dish. Came

We went last night for our 33th anniversary. Had the 3 course and wine pairing. Was so delish. Cauliflower, squash soup and beef dish. Decided on bread pudding and Matcha ice cream for dessert. Yeah baby. Only complaint is we wanted more Matcha. Lol

We got the three course "Tour of the Orchard" and my only regret was that I didn't get a photo of the food to share, but that's because we were having such an amazing time eating it.
Miles, our server, was so friendly and fantastic. I got perfect recommendations from him and he was an absolute delight. He was training a very sweet gal who did a great job as well :)
Such an amazing place. Can't wait to go back.

My husband and I visited Orchard for our Wedding Anniversary dinner. The owner and their staff were so kind. They treated us with a sip of bubbly for our anniversary which made us feel very special and celebrated.

We enjoyed their 5-course meal with the wine pairing. Everything served was a winner. A personal fav was the corn risotto which was served as our third course. For dessert, we were treated to a Banana Foster Bread Pudding with a scoop of Matcha Ice Cream. Oh my, that Matcha Ice Cream was amazing. Definitely recommend Orchard!

We did the 5 course “tour of the orchard”, where the chef creates food for us on the fly. It was alright, the food was definitely a consistent style; very plant-based with food you can find locally. However, I felt the value-to-cost ratio was way out of balance. We really only identified one ingredient as being a value for the customer, and that was the steak for our main course. But that was under salted and had a thick, tasteless crust.
I would recommend not doing the tour of the orchard.

The bartenders are nice and super knowledgeable. Their craft cocktails, including the French 75 and nutty old-fashioned, were amazing but one that’s not on the menu is Wendy’s special - made with falernum, dandelion jam or “poor man’s honey”, muck cherry, and ginger beer. Doesn’t have a name yet!

I had high hopes for this restaurant. I wanted to support a local business and the concept seemed up my alley. The food ended up being ok, nothing amazing. The service was less than.

A group of us went for my birthday dinner. When we made the reservation, I mentioned that we had food allergies and it was for a birthday celebration. Usually, when you dine at a fine restaurant and include the it your reservation, they will ask about you about it and try to clarify what the allergies are to best accommodate you. The wait staff/owner didn't do that nor did they make any mention it being

We called on a Sunday evening as we were driving into the area after a long day of family travel. The owner answered and told us they were fully booked, but he asked how big our family was and what sort of meal we were looking for. He invited us to come on in and said he'd make something work. And boy, did he ever. The service was fabulous. The food was impeccable -- fresh, well-made, beautifully presented but not pretentious. The interior is really well done, managing to be gorgeous and cozy at the same time. We felt really well taken care of, and next time I'm lucky enough to be in

Food was tasty, but not amazing. Wait Staff was friendly. But the execution/experience was poor. We had a reservation for 7pm. Got seated at 7:45. Ordered, (not the tasting menu) and our food didn't come until after 9. Seems like a lot of good potential, but just need more practice to justify the big city prices/vibes. They'll get there.

I had looked forward to dining at this restaurant based on pleasant and detailed correspondence with the owner, Greg. However, our experience at this restaurant was frustrating due to delays and poor communication. We had put a deposit for $250 to hold a reservation for a party of 16 at 8pm.
When we showed up at 8, less than half the seats for our table were ready. There were limited/no status updates as we waited until 8:45 to finally be seated.

Then Greg came and informed me in front of my guests that I did not make entree selections for the group ahead of time, which would further delay things

I am sad to have to give this restaurant such a low review. They have many components to be good, but the execution of the food is not good.

Pros
We had a reservation and were greeted by friendly front of the house staff. Both waitresses were also good and attentive. The cocktails + mock tails we also, good, not great, but I would not mind having them again, safe choices. The restaurant also had good ambience, cozy, country, casual.

Cons
The food. For a restaurant to have as the con the food is a problem. 3 of 4 dishes were badly executed. I would venture to say that it's quite possible

Awesome!!
I walked in to this restaurant when i was just passing through.
Never expected it to be THST good.
Got the lounge seat by the window 🤘🏼😜
Asked the owner to serve their specialties, without even looking at the menu. They didn't disappoint! 🤩
Best version of cauliflower i ever tasted! Plain, simple and super good with the sweet vinegar and raisins 😋
Everything came with dark, bitter-sweet beer, that was perfect with the cauliflower.
Followed by a perfectly made NY strip (I think, not sure.. as I said, I let the owner decide what to serve)
Closed the meal with local

We had an awesome chef’s choice 5 meals on first night at Cle Elum. We were pleasantly surprised to encounter these tasty dishes. I hope once they could improve their servicing staff to be more attentive and coordinated, it’d be perfect 🤩

The owner Greg is so sweet and so is his partner.
Cameron was our waitress and she was perfectly attentive.

Want to know about the food? The chef is a basically a palate maniac as he makes up all of these incredible dishes.

The first time I went I ate toooooo much! 8 courses is much too much for me. Last night I had 4 courses and it was very filling.
I am not a prissy eater either.

Their pretentiousness and bad services, as already commented by others, were also apparent in my experience.

- I ordered a pick-up order at 4:45pm online.
- Was quoted to pick up at 5:30pm, and also got a text msg, "Your pickup order is being prepared"
- Went there right around 5:30pm, and told the hostess. She walked around the kitchen, the entrance and the counter, and it was apparent they didn't process our order. For a few min, I was left with no explanation.
- After the waiting, another host came and said, "it's going to take a few minutes, so do you want to have

Pretentious to the extreme. Walked in on a whim and there was one couple having dinner no other customers. The hostess asked if we had reservations and gave us a little tisk-tisk when we said no. I can see your dining room has 10 empty tables so don't pretend you are all booked up. We did get seated and were told they were out of basically everything other than the over priced steaks. I grew up on a cattle ranch near Pendelton and have eaten more steaks than 99% of people. These were OK but priced like we were at a rockstar chef's restaurant in San Francisco.

We waited 30 mins after our reservation time for seated. The host gave us welcome appetizer while we were waiting. Service was good and attentive. We ordered scallops, stake and gnocchi. Scallop and stake were tasty but a bit cold. I wish they were warmer. Gnocchi was quite disappointment. They are too doughy but the sauce was good.

We had the pleasure of dining here a few weeks ago for my dad's birthday.

After our original plans fell through, I was frantically searching for a nice place that could immediately accommodate 13 people. My hopes weren't too high. Luckily I called Orchard, and Greg answered the phone. He told me that it was a small restaurant, but they would do everything possible to make our night special.

Due to covid, our group needed to be separated into 3 tables. Initially, Greg had to sit us farther away from the rest of our group, but assured us that he would move us all together as soon as

My boyfriend and I enjoyed an amazing 8 course meal with wine pairings last night. Each dish was so creative and flavorful and well balanced. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The chef even came over and share his recipe for the most delicious chimichurri we've ever had. I have lived in many big cities and traveled all over the world and this has been one of my top meal experiences! I will recommend this place to everyone I know!
