Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, Capo Creek Ranch is a peaceful oasis from the hectic pace of everyday life. The capo is a symbol that for us joins love, laughter, music and, of course, great wine. We are blessed with abundant sunshine, rich soils, and a stellar team.
It is no surprise our wines taste so good! We specialize in unique wine and food tasting experiences prepared by Chef Winemaker Mary Roy, specializing in high end comfort food paired with our premium estate wines. Come visit and you will quickly see why our guests never want to leave!

Services
Mary Roy and her husband Bob Covert are both physicians from Naperville, IL and are the parents of six children and five grandchildren. They purchased a historic Dry Creek Valley vineyard in 2013 after Mary completed her Winemaker Certificate from UC Davis, followed by completion of Levels 1 & 2 of the International Sommelier Guild.
Marco Garcia is our Vineyard Manager and has been with us since very early in the project. We value his attention to detail, his never ending thirst for knowledge and innovation, his hard work, and dedication. He is always there to lend a helping hand and loved by all. He is studying Viticulture at Santa Rosa Junior College.
There are no upfront fees to join the Club. Credit cards are charged just before each club shipment and costs are determined by your wine choices. Membership requires that the minimum number of bottles must be ordered for the club level selected. Varietals in each club order will be preselected for you; however, you may modify varietals or add to your order prior to shipment.
Come pick grapes with us Friday night (reception at the winery is from 5-7pm to get intructions on overnight grape pick), followed by a scrumptious champagne breakfast at dawn. We let everyone help with hands on grape processing for a few hours before going home to nap before the big Saturday night harvest dinner.
Cover crops are not only beautiful, but they have many other benefits to the overall health of the vineyard. We even use them in our spring salads! Reserve your space in the Greenhouse Garden for a perfect little 90 minute picnic lunch prepared by Chef Mary, while soaking in the sunshine and enjoying the beautiful view of Eva's Vineyard in pastoral Dry Creek Valley.

We had the most amazing lunch and wine pairing experience in the greenhouse at Capo Creek! seriously this is a lunch I will never forget. the food and wine were amazing (high end comfort food...yes please!) and it was a cold, rainy day which made for an unbelievable setting in the greenhouse. Mary and Lilly, our servers were the best. Then we spent time chatting with THE Mary, the owner and she exuded passion and love for what she does. We have been to many wineries in the area and have never had such an authentic fun experience. 100% recommend, if you are considering please book now! And if you

Great staff. Great story. Food was amazing. Wines were all good. Highly recommend! We came when the weather wasn't great but they had heaters. I am GF and each course had a GF option that was delicious. Two days later adding this note - we have been to 3 now and this was hands down our favorite. Best experience. Food was unique and different than others - but differentiator. Hard to pick when you are in town. But pick this one!

Capo Creek is a refreshingly authentic Dry Creek Valley winery. First of all every tasting is a good and wine pairing. Mary, the wine maker, is also the chef. Fantastic food and wine. We stayed for the 2.5hr tasting and we're not disappointed. Even walked away with half a case it was so good! Perfect place to stop for a long tasting/lunch while out wine tasting.

"AMAZING" We were a party of 4 that started our tour with Bob through the vineyards sipping on fresh crisp white wine. He gave us such an informative and beautiful tour of his vineyard to finish it off in their caves. After our tour we were greeted by Mary who set a Magnificent lunch table for us which was a 6 course food pairing "MOST DELICIOUS" with their incredible WINES... They absolutely love their precious gem and it reflects on everything they do. We are looking forward to more gatherings with them and their estate.

We had our wedding at Capo Creek last week and it truly was an amazing experience- right down to the smallest details (how the appetizers were presented, for example)! Mary, Nadine, Peg-the whole Capo family make you feel like you're part of their family. I have not been to any other wedding that was so personalized and special... everything was exceptional- the setting, the food, the wine, the people, the entire experience. If I could give them a 10- Star rating, I would!

Today my husband and I visited Capo Creek, and it is an experience not to be missed. Chef Mary (the owner, chef and wine maker) blew us away! We visited many vineyards during our trip, and hers was by far the best! My husband doesn't eat fish, and I don't eat red meat and she made the most delicious lunch! It was our best meal of the trip.
The service, decor, and story behind Capo Creek is a magical one. I feel so blessed that I was able to experience it, and I can't wait to go back!

The Conscierge at Farmhouse Inn helped us find and select Capo Creek Winery for a combination lunch and wine tasting. It was a trip highlight! It would have been delightful just to drive on West Dry Creek Road to get to the winery. And, it would have been delightful just to sit on the beautiful patio and sip delicious wine on a summer afternoon. To top it off, we had fabulous food paired with the wines, and Mary and her team and family were fun hosts. Bravo to Mary for taking on such a big endeavor, and for executing every day with such excellence! If you don’t have time for the wine and food

Stunning setting and Mary and her sister are nothing short of Fantastico!!!
They can talk the talk on food and wine and walk the walk.
I must say they make you feel like you are in France or Italy. Sweet , genuine
and approachable. Food is off the hook and wines are not your over ripe California wines. Great acid and food wines from the heart. Loved the pairing and food. Besides that they are soooooo sweet. Bravo and refreshing not to have the California Winery attitude. Loved our experience. We will be back often!!!!!!!

We visited Capo Creek, a hidden gem, off the beaten path winery (women-owned, operated, and loved) for the ultimate wine tasting and 5-course lunch. Mary the owner took care of us for 3 hours, poured the wine that she blended, cooked, and served us flavorful but light dishes while sharing life stories. It was a rich experience that we couldn't have experienced at a larger winery. The leisurely pace of the pouring/meal allowed us time to sink into the moment and be present. We were surrounded by beautiful flowers, the sounds of birds, and the magical views of the winery. All while enjoying

We enjoyed a glorious afternoon experiencing a 6-course food and wine pairing on the deck overlooking dry creek valley. Mary, Nadine and Renee took excellent care of us as we learned about their wines. We especially enjoyed their rosé, old estate zin and Cabernet which we ordered 1/2 case to ship back home. We discovered this place riding by on bikes and are so happy we returned for the tasting.

UNBELIEVABLE experience with BOTH Marys! Thank you so much for getting us in for what was our favorite visit out of 16 wineries. You are phenomenal. Keep telling your story; keep preparing amazing food to go with your incredible wine; and keep following your dream. You've got it right! I feel like we gained new family yesterday. Cheers!

Best wine tasting experience ever! Was a little shocked when my husband told me the cost of the tasting but was definitely worth it! Food pairings with generous pours was definitely enjoyed. Mary our host was so knowledgeable and made our experience fun. Met Mary the owner and she is the most down to earth amazing person we have ever met at a winery. Even took a picture with us. We loved every wine we tasted and walked out with a case and club members. Tasting fee waived when you join the club. Definitely looking forward to receiving future shipments and will be back in a few months. Thanks Mary

Wow! I recently had the best afternoon lunch and tasting at this fabulous boutique Sonoma winery. Recommended by the concierge at the Montage Healdsburg, we came to celebrate a good friends birthday by experiencing their Ultimate Food & Wine Paring. The drive to the winery is beautiful on back country roads. Upon arriving we were greeted by Nadine and Mary the two proprietors of the winery. Over the long afternoon we go the whole story of how they left their medical practice and then started winery from scratch! Super engaging stories and testament to two amazing women business owners!

What a hidden gem! We had the most memorable dinner here with wine pairings overlooking the vineyards and we have our own private experience with the chef/owner/sommelier/chocolatier/ etc etc. (she does everything), Mary. The multicoursed meal was so special and unique for my dad's birthday and it beat any other meal we had the whole time we were here. It's a really unique experience that you can't get anywhere else and the food and wine was amazing! 10/10. HIGHLY recommend.

My favorite new winery in Sonoma County! Capo Creek is a spectacular new experience in the Dry Creek Valley. The wines are outstanding and the food pairings are amazing. Mary and Bob have outdone themselves creating this unique and special place. Mary is the winemaker, chef and chocolatier. They offer food and wine pairings (prepared by Mary), vineyard tours and even cooking classes! They even do weddings too!
