At Mashpee Physical Therapy it is our mission to treat patients with compassion while providing highly skilled and knowledgeable rehabilitation. We are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the injury. Our clinic is designed to feel very "un-clinical". We take great pride in maintaining a familiarity, where each patient is greeted by name when they walk through the door.

Our team promotes wellness and injury prevention in order to keep patients healthy, long after they have recovered. Our therapists are highly skilled and certified in multiple manual therapy techniques to better manage your pain. We offer pre-surgical "prehab" consultations to tailor a program specific to your surgical needs.
Services
We are a small, privately owned and operated outpatient clinic dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the injury. We strive to create a positive environment where patients feel comfortable while recovering from an injury. We take great pride in maintaining a familiarity, where each patient is greeted by name when they walk through the door.
Manual therapy is a hands-on treatment by clinicians to treat muscle aches, joint pain, and limited range of motion. It encompasses a variety of techniques including soft tissue mobilization of muscles, specific joint mobilization, and joint manipulation. Mobilization is a slower, more controlled process of articular and soft-tissue stretching intended to improve joint mobility.
Surgeons routinely refer post-surgical patients to our physical therapists to help them recover strength, function and mobility. Our therapists provide one-on-one, evidence-based physical therapy treatment sessions to help facilitate your recovery and return to activities of daily living (ADLs), work, recreational activities and even competitive sports.
Physical Therapists are experts in the art and science of the evaluation and treatment of human movement and balance dysfunctions. We care for a variety of muscle, joint, and nervous system disorders that can affect your balance. About 1.8 million people 65 and older were treated in ERs for injuries sustained from falls (CDC 2008).
Chronic pain is pain that lasts more than several months (variously defined as 3 to 6 months, but certainly longer than "normal healing"). It's a very common problem. About 25.3 million U.S. adults (11.2 percent) had pain every day for the previous 3 months. Individuals with severe pain had worse health, used more health care, and had more disability than those with less severe pain.

I cannot say enough positive comments about the staff at Mashpee PT. They were always upbeat and made me feel like my problems were the only problems of the day. I felt that they gave me caring and professional care.

Mashpee Physical Therapy was amazing. They have a great group of therapists who are so welcoming and accommodating, my therapist, Kristen was awesome. She did great analysis in which she identified sources of the problem that previous PTs in Boston did not. Based on my injury I needed dry needling which was very helpful.
Overall, they were efficient and affective and I was able to "graduate" (they didn't keep my around/going for longer than I needed when I felt ready) and get back to running. I'm not one to leave reviews but I'd highly recommend!

This is my second go-round using Mashpee Physical Therapy. Both of my procedures were for shoulder and biceps issues. I have found all of the therapists, including the owner Andy, to have been excellent.
Nobody ever looks forward to having to go to physical therapy, but this group of professionals not only knows what they are doing, but they go out of their way to make your therapy all about you. They are ALL awesome. I recommend them to anyone in the Mashpee/Falmouth area looking for physical therapy.

I cannot say enough good things about Mashpee Physical Therapy (MTP). Most importantly, Ashley reviewed my medical records and designed a treatment plan that worked. I had noticeable improvement in less than two weeks. Ashley and the other staff that I worked with, especially Justin, were professional, caring, encouraging, and always pleasant and fun. I would give MTP 10 stars if I could.

MPT is the best around! The staff always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed. Everyone is hardworking and really care about your progress, they’re all amazing! The place is very clean and being there will always put you in a good mood no matter what! You won’t find a place like this one, would go every day if I could!
