DADA On Pointe was originally conceived in the Spring of 2004 as a in-house ballet workshop. The program later became established as a pre-professional intensive. Ms. Allen, along with founding director Mme. Adrienne Dellas, recognized the need to narrow the gap in the black and brown communities with pure classical ballet training.
The Academy provides a comprehensive curriculum for the committed student, ages eight and up. With an emphasis on Classical Ballet and Modern Dance, Academy students follow a schedule designed by Ms. Allen. Techniques studied also include African, Dunham, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Jazz and Tap Dance. Based on their skill level, students will be placed in Level 1, 2, or 3.

My daughter dance at DADA for 4 years starting in the Summer Intensive Program, then extended to the daily Academy. It was an experience for her that continues even today in her adult life. Thank you for the professional teaching staff you have for these talented children of ours.
