Each impeccably clean loft, one bedroom or two bedroom apartment home comes with central air conditioning, full size washers/dryers, private balconies, 9' ceilings, ceramic tile in kitchens and bathrooms, and a contemporary style.
The clubhouse with its loggia is absolutely fantastic and available for private parties or a nice evening around the fireplace. No Heat in your Apartment - This is only an emergency in extreme cold weather in winter time and when the heater is not working due to mechanical malfunction. Toilet stoppages where there is only one toilet in the apartment or if a toilet is overflowing. If your maintenance request is NOT for one of the maintenance emergencies listed above, please log in to your resident portal account and submit your maintenance request.
Shelley the apartment manager provided a great welcome and has been consistently available if we need anything or have a question. Max and the maintenance team are also very responsive. We've been here for almost 2 years and we've enjoyed our time and intro to Bakersfield. The apartment has plenty of room and a nice layout.

Single male who was hardly ever home, had guests over only three times in the whole year, not one party, and kept it very clean and neat. After lease was up thoroughly cleaned my apartment. I had some nail holes in the wall where I had put photos and frames up that I didn't fill in myself and for that they took $800 out of deposit. That would have been no more than $50 for spackle and a gallon of paint if I had done it myself. Watchout for the bull$h!t when it comes to deposit. I was moving job locations and didn't have time to fight this legally as they were being obstinate about it

I have lived at Polo Villas for over 10 years now! I always have found the staff friendly and attentive! The complex itself is a quiet, well maintained , modern, gated development . The unit I am in is a 1 bedroom apartment with a nice layout, with walk-in closet in the bedroom, large size bathroom , modern kitchen and a laundry room with washer and dryer! Shout out to Shelley and Max , part of the great team working at Polo Villas!

Called in recently to inquire if it was possible to get a letter sent to my old address. Under normal circumstances, I would have gone through the traditional route, but given the sensitivity of the matter, I figured I could ask the manager she could ask the recent tenants if I can get my mail. I spoke to Shelly, on the phone who handled the matter poorly. I'm not sure what kind of day she's having, but she didn't have to be rude nor did she have to raise her voice. She had two options: offer to ask the recent tenants if it were possible to get that mail or politely come up with

I have lived here close to a year at and still astonished how such a nice place exists at the price point. The apartments are beautiful, the weekly events at the clubhouse are amazing, and maintinence fixes any concern same day. Shelley is extremely helpful and pleasant to talk to. If you want to live here, act fast, because there was a bit of a wait for me to move in.

If there is an option to put zero stars, I would. I have never encountered discrimination in my life until I came here to inquire about potentially living in this apartment complex. I came in with my fiancé hoping there would be an apartment available since we saw online that there was an opening in July. Right when we walked in and asked if there were any apartments available anytime soon, the lady working at the office told us there's nothing available at all. Polo Villas is a pleasant safe environment. My schedule includes traveling early mornings and at times arriving home well after dark. The gated community and well lighted parking and walking areas gives me a strong sense of security. The management staff is attentive and courteous. The maintenance staff is prompt and efficient. The community events also create a more neighborhood friendly environment.

I moved in to Polo Villas villas July 2015 when I landed a job in Bakersfield, this was the first time I going to be living away from home so I was nervous and since I am afraid to be home alone and such, I wanted feel safe therefore selected a quiet gated community. There was a robbery in the complex recently, our great on site worker (Angelica) informed us of such just today, avoid this place, she is rude, the place may look nice but it isn't safe. They are closing the pool again soon, it's always one thing after another here, even if only minor, but still, a ROBBERY in a gated community for the amount of rent we pay, avoid it.

Great location and great price for this apartment complex. Convenient features such as online payments and online applications. Ive been here 6 months. Very quiet and safe area. Apartment manager is friendly and handles all request immediately. Maintenance requests are handled usually same day. Very well kept landscaping as well and plenty of parking space!!
My only issue is poor cell phone reception and lack of fitness center.
Would recommend to anyone.

We just got a community email today about a robbery in our complex, it's a gated community and still there was a robbery, it's not safe here, take your money somewhere where it is.
The onsite worker is rude, Angelica is her name, she acts like she is doing you a favor for doing things that should have been done prior to move in.
