Hunter Rentals has provided quality rental options throughout the Ft. Hood area for over 35 years. We make it easy to find and lease a rental that works for your specific needs. With a variety of different properties to choose from, we are your go-to resource for rentals in the area. Once you have registered for your Tenant Portal, you can login from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
To view available properties: If property is ready now, you may sign out a key with a $20 per key (3 key max) deposit (cash only). Keys must be returned within 3 hours. If keys are returned within the time frame and money is not picked up within 24 hours, all money will be forfeited. Completed online applications are received and logged in by time/date stamp.
1. Remove all personal items and trash from the entire property to include yard, garage, attic and shed. City issued trash receptacles must be empty, clean and inside garage or at side of building, regardless if trash service continues beyond inspection date. 2. Utilities (Electric, Water and Gas), must be on at the inspection and must remain on for One (1) business day following the scheduled inspection date.
At our discretion, we allow animals on certain properties, with a 2 animal per property maximum. There is a $500 per animal, fully refundable deposit. Please call our office concerning your animal and any property that you are interested in. The animal deposit must be paid and animal addendum signed BY BOTH PARTIES prior to any animal being brought onto any property.

Heard of a residence going up for rent from this company and I've stopped by the other day to check it out and the picture just explains their lack of concern. Spoke to a resident across the street from this property that said all of this trash had been there since new years when the previous tenant vacated. Needless to say I definitely will not pursue renting from this company if this is how they handle property.

Hunter’s do not care about their resident, they try to charge you for everything. My A/C have not be working properly since summer, first they said it was the filter and try to charge me, then they said it was the door on the A/C unit and charge me for it; still have the problem but they took my money and claimed it was fixed. Now they saying it is not an emergency request so send a email and we’ll get to you when we can.

If I could rate zero i would. My wife and I found a place listed by Hunter Rentals, we liked it paid the deposit and all. Upon arrival I found mold and water damage on 90% of the cabinets. Went to their office and showed them the pictures I took amd they couldn't do anything about it. Until their "operations manager" saw the email we would have to send. They are literally no help at all with this. We moved from Maryland to Killeen and this is what we are greeted with.

I run a carpet and tile cleaning business as well as a house cleaning service business. We offer a 100% guarantee on our work. Sometimes employees miss things and we go back and reclean at no charge until everything is satisfactory.
Unfortunately, Hunter Rentals does not care and does not allow companies to re-enter their property to do touch ups for things that were missed. They then re-charge the tenant again to have their Company go in to clean.
I called the company personally to tell them that I will fix any issues there are, on a day that fits their schedule, but was met

The bad reviews were correct. They will try to scam you out of your money, and they are extremely unprofessional. They will charge you up the butt prices for something that could easily be resolved or fixed.
They aren’t military friendly either. I have to get a military attorney involved because apparently being put on orders doesn’t mean anything to them. I would give zero stars if I could

If you leave your house clean and pay to get the carpets professionally cleaned they will STILL charge you 130 for carpet cleaning fees, 400 for a cleaning fee and then try and make you pay 3800 in "repairs" that they have no proof of. AVOID. If you are currently renting dont bother cleaning the house or paying to professionally get the carpets cleaned because they will be charging you regardless. They want to keep your security deposit and SOME at all cost.

My husband & I have been pleasantly surprised by this rental company. We’ve had to put in a couple of maintenance requests since moving in, but the office reached back to us in a very timely manner & got maintenance out to us the same day on both occasions! The office staff is very friendly as well and seem to genuinely care for their tenants.
Comparing Hunter Rentals to our previous rental company in this area is like night and day. Our previous rental company didn’t seem to take any of our questions or concerns seriously.
So far, we are very pleased with this rental company!
