Been coming here since I was a kid. Very hard to beat. The experience is more then just the bomb sushi, but it has a certain home feel when you eat there. Owner is a great guy who cares a lot about his customers. The workers there do a great job with taking orders and making sure your order is correct. Love this place. Will never stop going. Thank you for working hard through the pandemic. These guys are legends.

Expect a VERY long wait. I placed an order togo and had to wait 30 minutes for my order to be ready on top of the 1 hour ETA time. Sat there waiting while the workers took in a bunch of customers.
The food: We got ordered both sushi and the teppanyaki. The fish quality isn't the best and the rolls weren't that good either. One of the fish used in our rainbow roll tasted kind of fishy. The noodles were average. The protein (we got calamri and chicken) were both really dry. The worst part of the entire meal was the fried rice that comes with the teppanyaki. I'm not sure if this is

Food is amazing. Their sushi is my favorite. Only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the last time we ate there, the service wasn’t the best- they forgot a lot of our food & our dinner came before our apps/sushi. Not to mention, we ordered hibachi take out twice & both times it barely came with protein. Just ordered takeout again & it took an hour to make 4 rolls— waited a half hour in the restaurant because they forgot my order from when I had called.

Best of the best around Happy Valley. However they do have room for improvement.
The amount of rice used for nigiri is a bit too much. Rice was not very seasoned, but the fresh and delicate fish made up for it. Presentation was fantastic, but can be a bit overdone for some customers. They are a bit rusty now that they are back in business post-pandemic.
Despite all this, their fish is fresh, rice is not overcooked, and it's a clean restaurant with boujee vibes. This sushi restaurant is highly recommended and I'll be back.

The sunny side roll (minus the cream cheese) was really good. The spicy sauce is fantastic, make sure you get a side of it to put on everything! I would skip the salt and pepper calamari, we ordered it and it was not edible, it was extremely dry and the actual calamari was so hard I couldn't chew through it, they did the right thing and removed it off the bill though. So I only took 1 star off for it.

There was more rice then filling inside my rolls i ordered. It was like i was just eating rice. They also forgot to put avocado in my rolls, so they smeared some on top. It was extremely un edible. Every time i go they seem to have someone new making the rolls and its never the same person. This time happen to be the worse and at $40, I won't be returning.

The food is delicious they hook it up size wise🤤 they have some of the best prices I've seen for a sushi joint. The host was super helpful, courteous and overall quite pleasant. The look to this establishment inside is super poppy I can't wait to check it out when they are completely open👐🍣 for now order to your hearts content💕 the calamari is grand🤙

We love Fuji's Clackamas. Sadly, they do not love us back. I picked up my to go order and although all customers were wearing masks not a single employee had one on. Cashier- no mask, food runner for curbside delivery- no mask, people preparing food- no masks! When I see the lengths that other restaurants are going to provide safety measures for their customers, it is very apparent that Fuji's is unwilling to take the very simple and effective step of masking up to protect others.

I have never been treated like this in my entire life. My husband came home after picking up a to go order and it was missing 8 piece of Cali roll which was clearly indicated it was charged on my receipt. The manager answered and he said that he personally checked the order before it went out and hung up on me saying that he doesn't have time to argue with me. When I called again he said the same thing he "doesn't want to argue with me " and that it's our problem. I demand the owner to contact me ASAP I need to have a long conversation about the lack of any customer

I had a large order of rolls and nigiris for the party. Presentation of food packaging was very nice also the size of fish, but the rice was so bad. It was sticky and mushy. Too much water was in when it was cooked and no seasoning at all on rice. Sushi is all about how you cook rice and season it.
Very disappointing....

Too expensive for what you get. I know it's happyvalley but come on. I can go down the street to sushi land and get the same quality for less and many more options. Waiters are always busy when u walk in even though you can see them standing and talking by the kitchen. They treat their regular fine I guess.

I haven't been to Fuji's in probably close to five years. It was absolutely amazing. We went through dinner time and we made reservations a week early. I would make reservations if you're going on Friday or Saturday because they were absolutely packed. We had a hibachi food which was extremely good. Me and my fiancé ended up splitting the steak hibachi which was more than enough for two people. And we also got sushi. The sushi is extremely good. They have cooked sushi and raw sushi. The drinks were also good. I got it so nothing bad to say about Fugees. The service was absolutely

Tried to give them another shot. Showed up at 4:56 and was rude and said not open. All the while the sushi bar is rolling with food. Then they said. Nah we aren't open for 10 more minutes all this being said while 4 people wandering around with hands in their pocket
I can take my money elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. Two times tried this place. Both were horrible. And they are way overpriced anyhow. I hope they go under. They deserve it

If you're looking for a bar atmosphere that happens to sell sushi, you're in the right place. If you're looking for quality sushi and great service, go somewhere else.
We hit Fuji's at the dinner hour, and the fish wasn't fresh, the shrimp tempura was a nightmare -- soggy batter, rubbery shrimp. I'm pretty sure they fried it at lunch time and were just microwaving it back into shape. I had to send it back -- TWICE.
I'm a bit of a sushi snob, admittedly, but there are MUCH better sushi joints around town. I strongly recommend Mio Sushi over Fuji's.

Sat in a both, not at the sushi belt or grill seats. Waiter was sort of ok. Draft beer selection wasn't good. Had a Sapporo in a bottle. Japan's version of bad beer. She had a house Pinot Gris which was a giant pour...half the box I'm guessing.
Unremarkable strip mall sushi. Not bad but not worth going for.
Her noodles with scallops and prawns were great. And a HUGE portion. Other person at table had spicy ramen with beef. Was sort of ok.
The most horrid thing I've eaten in years was the "salad" they brought out. I cannot begin to explain how horrible the dressing

This used to be my favorite sushi place. But after today's visit I will never be returning. The plates that I got were dirty. The waiter barely checked up on us. The rice on the sushi is not real sushi rice.
I also ordered the udon stir fry and the kitchen chef came out to the front asking the sushi chef if he knew how to make the stir fry because he has never made it before. It was the worst noodles I've ever had. On the menu it said it was suppose to be spicy but nope. It was VERY salty. So salty that I was instantly bloated. On top of that it also very spendy. We spent $50 for two
