My friend and I love this place. We frequent here often. I like their pico salsa, hortchata, fish tacos beans and rice. It clean and roomy. Plenty of parking. Like the counter. They make the food quickly.

It was very good for a cafeteria style restaurant. Looking forward to going back to try their burrito bowl.

Disgusting. I pulled up to the place to meet a friend for lunch and was getting ready to enter when out walked a party of 8, none masked, most of them coughing. Clearly nobody working here cares about the sign on the door saying masks are required. This entire place is a OSHA violation. The only thing you’re going to get here is Covid 19. Had to go down the road to lunch because these people clearly do not gaf about the health and safety of employees or customers.
They’re bajito alright, bajito on common sense and courtesy.

Pretty disappointed. Meat was precooked and dry. Staff were hard to hear. Outside temp was 32 and inside temp was maybe 55 (seemed like the AC was on.)
This is my second visit, I do not think I will be giving it a 3rd chance.

Terrible. I work nights at a local hospital and ordered for the first time to be delivered to my work. The portions were super tiny, the small amount of dry fish did not even cover a third of the single taco that came with the order, they forgot the slaw, pico. Lime and salsa that was suppose to come with it. Way to pay attention to detail. Why so stingy? The salad was literally 2 bites and drenched in a pool of ranch. Not a good first impression and will NOT be going back. Left me super hungry and unsatisfied on my 12 hour night shift

Like a Mexican Subway on steroids. Great scratch cooking. The salads are the best and made to order. Burritos are huge. Pick your ingredients and they make it right in front of you then smother it with enchilada sauce. Love the breakfast burritos too.

I am SO particular about my Mexican food (and food in general) to the point where I will religiously order from only the same place every time, after I've scoured through every possible place and found one that works well enough. I recently moved so had to find a new go to spot, and I think bajio is it for me! Got the shrimp tacos from uber eats and I love that they're pretty customizable (no place I've encountered so far allowed for that with shrimp tacos) but they don't need to be as they're delicious the way they are! Love the mango salsa and the sauce the shrimp are cooked in which tasted sweet

I've gone here for years and it's not only my favorite but my kiddos love it as well! Highly recommend the ensalada half lime half honey chicken. The sweet pork quesadilla, the burrito platter with side salad. Bring all my friends as well! This place is my first go to for healthy takeout!!!

I looove this place! My only complaint is there's not one closer to my house! Picture like a chipotle style situation but everything is fresh and there's more choices, for example there's 3 types of chicken to choose from. Spicy, lemon, and shredded I think I usually just get spicy so idk. 3 types of beans, couple options of rice, and I've never once ate here and something wasn't fresh!

Also the burrito is decently sized for the price which if you check my chipotle review you can tell it's half the size of what I usually get here! Love it! I just assumed I reviewed

Was up from Cali visiting a friend... wish there was a Bajio in the Bay Area. I had 2 shrimp tacos with the mango salsa (no cheese) with rice and beans.... soooooo good! Ate the entire plate! Everyone enjoyed their meal and for the portions was reasonably priced... even had leftovers (only with teenage boys one actual ordered 2 meals) haha! Great place to go if you have a taste for Mexican food! Bajio please come to the Bay Area!

Usually I love the food from this place. However, on July 7th I placed a take out order. As you can see from the photo, my quesadilla was not cut all the way, and I had salsa and sour cream put in the same container. It was super wet and soggy. The person packing my order thought enough to put the queso I ordered in a separate to go cup, but not the other liquids… clearly they just did not care.

I lived in San Diego during my teens and have to admit I'm a Mexican food snob because of it. This is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Portland, and you'd never know it to look at the place. The food is always super fresh and flavorful and the staff is always nice.

I have nothing negative to say about this place but I also have nothing to recommend it if you want tasty food. It's very bland. The salsa's can add some kick, but they don't really add flavor.

If you like bland mexican food then this place is where you should go.

What I've tried:
Breakfast Burrito with Bacon
Chicken Burrito
Taco Platter
Bajio Ensalada
Chicken Green Chile Quesadilla

I don't plan on returning but if I do, I can depend on the food being fresh and a good value, but I won't be expecting it

Another failure. I really like the food but they never get it right, ordered a veggie burrito with a side salad and chips and salsa. No sour cream or guacamole... I just don't think they care. Which is sad because I would order on a weekly basis if I ever got what I actually ordered!
No more take out for me, maybe if I go in and explain the menu to them and walk them through it they can get it right but I don't work there so I shouldn't have to tell them how to do their job...

Great food and great prices, they are open for all 3 meals of the day we used to mainly pop in for the $5 breakfast burritos but being that they are one of the few restaurants open for sit down we have been frequenting them for lunch and dinner also, they have daily lunch specials and fountain drinks available. I love that you can watch your food being freshly prepared and customized to your specifications. The seating is spacious and can accommodate many despite the current seating rules. Flavorful food, fast and fresh check them out family owned

I use to love this place until literally everything was extra. Like for example how do you guys charge extra for the corn salsa? Are you doing okay?! I can understand charging extra for guacamole; but y'all are not Chipotle. The only thing at this point going for you is the Jalapeno Cilantro Ranch. I also understand raising your prices, but there is no need to charge extra for literally everything.

I am kind of torn about this place. The food has been both good and mediocre to me on my numerous visits, but never bad. They have gotten my order wrong a couple of times, but did step up and fix the situation right away.

My main issue was always that i despise onions, but loved sour cream. However I was never able to get sour cream with my menu items because they mix onions in the sour cream on site at the start of each day. Sometimes they would go and get some sour cream without onions for me but usually tell me no they couldn't. I got it, it is what you do but knowing not everyone
