Date night! But make sure you really like your date :) sushi isn't cheap and I know this, but I walked out a little lighter than expected. And, we did order more than we normally would at a sushi place. So maybe my sticker shock is a tad unwarranted. Especially considering the food was all very good and we just kept ordering more!
It was a wee bit slow getting off the ground, but our server was Alecia and she was delightful! So cheerful and a joy whenever she came to the table. Servers like this really glow through the masks. I can tell there was a big smile behind there.
Nigri. I always look

Other than the front of house being very dismissive and oblivious to what was going on we enjoyed our time and meal here. Once seated we were gracious greeted by a wonderful server. Food was fast and very fresh and delicious. Will be back.

Over priced, but what isn't today, sushi is good staff is minimal, I guess it's a Ying yang situation. Save money and make it yourself, however ambieance is priceless

Delicious place! Very high quality food for a decent price point if you don't get the more expensive items. However, that being said, it can get pricey if you're planning to get more than a simple bite or two. The quality is fresh so I recommend it. Very cool inside, the location at Bridgeport mall is fancy with red lights, and a fireplace. I went on a Friday and it was very crowded and loud, and I wouldn't say very covis friendly as the tables are far too close together to be safe. My friend and I spent 40 on 2 roles and a shared appetizer, and the roles were basic, spicy salmon and spicy tuna

The food was honestly great. The speed of service was a little behind when it didn't seem too busy, but the waitress we had was great. The actual time of waiting for food was also very short.
If you are hesitant about spicy food, I recommend trying the things listed as spicy here. It's pretty tolerable, but their sauce has a pretty great flavor without being too overwhelming (I dislike and can't tolerate spicy food myself).

You don't get parking directly in front, but plenty all around. We come to Bridgeport Village often but first time visit here. There was no wait, but they did ask if we had a reservation. So I am guessing it could get busy from time to time.
Menu was okay, but no pictures. So if you are not familiar with Japanese cuisine, you might need some help. We knew what we wanted, so no problem there. Sushi and rolls came out at a good rate. Not super fast, but pretty good for made to order items. For the most part, food tasted okay, but pretty pricy in my opinion. Didn't order drinks and was 120$ for 2

Wonderful place. Always fresh sushi and great service. Highly recommend! I had the two roll combination with an Alaska Roll and Spicy Salmon Roll. It also came with miso soup and cucumber salad. Really good value and delicious.

Family of 6 with one being a 10 month old. We were lucky and got the back room to ourselves. Staff was friendly and patient. Food was delicious. Staff wore masks. Wear a mask in and can remove once at table.

Sinju is a modern japanese restaurant that is great for japanese food lovers or for people that are trying it for the first time and want to eat a simple dish. I'm confident that there is an item on the menu that everyone at the table would like. The food has been great at the best of times, last time we went our dishes were so over-salted it wasn't even edible. They need to work on their service as well, it's very inconsistent. I've only ever had one good waiter here.
