The Kiheisurfsideresort.com website was created at the behest of current and former owners, who felt a need to uniquely advertise their condos in a cost effective manner, by using the popularity of the Internet. It is not a property management site.
It does not take over from companies like VRBO, or AAOceanfront, etc. Property management companies take on all comers, try and book them for their clients AND take a large percentage of the rental income and have other charges as well on top of all this.However, they do not normally have the resources to show off your condo in the manner in which the KSSResort website does.

I stayed in 108 on the ground floor it was nice to be able to step out to the pool. Normally I don't like ground floor units but this had a nice view of a big park and then the ocean. The unit is small with very little closet space. It was very clean and comfy everything that you would need was stocked in the unit . The owner Elizabeth was very responsive via email and communicated well. I rented it through VRBO.

Be aware and cautious dealing with this owner. Does not follow his cancellation or reschedule policy. Makes changes to it and continues not to follow. Not accommodating to his clients and he makes it extremely difficult to deal with. I’d strongly suggest booking this building through a booking agent ie; Vrbo or air bnb so as to protect the consumer. This outfit lives in their own world.

I loved this place. It has a really nice view, we enjoyed watching sunset for a day.
The place is really clean and I believe they kept sanitizing the elevators because every time we walked in it smelled so clean.
The pool was under construction so we couldn’t use that but there is a huge beach that you can enjoy.
The landscape have good spots to workout or doing some yoga.
Totally recommend this place.

Unit 308 was a dump. Musty furniture from the 1970s. And no AC as other reviewers have pointed out. Perhaps okay if you are on a super tight budget, but definitely not a place for honeymooners. And when we got there at 4 the place had not yet been cleaned, the fault of management. The lady we talked to was very rude. We found another place to stay and forfeited the $780.

After calling Maui home for many years, I LOVE coming back to soak in the beauty. I have stayed all over the island and Kihei Surfside is a very special spot. The property managers are exceptional! The location is absolute perfection -- ocean views from the lanai and just steps away from gorgeous beaches. The walkability is amazing! I am so grateful that this property exists. I love this place more than words!
