We stayed at Avenel for about an year and recently moved out for work reasons. It’s a very beautiful and peaceful place to live, locations is also the best. Mall, grocery stores, restaurants everything is within reach.
Plus the maintenance staff was very friendly & quick.James at the leasing office has been very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended👍👍

My review is on the property and current management it is not speaking to the Corporation Sentinel. I do not have any direct dealings with Sentinel Corporation however they did process my security deposit refund in a timely manner.
I lived at Avenel a little shy of two years and moved out this past July. My experience with this community has been wonderful if I had to do it again I most certainly would .My decision to return is solely based on current Property Management , specifically Property manager John. He is a very active and involved property manager. He responds to residents ; follows

I have recently moved into Avenel Apartments and I can’t say enough about the staff in the Leasing office as well as the maintenance guys. They have been extremely attentive to my needs and any questions that I have. I feel like I’m living at a resort! The complex is immaculate inside and out. Looking forward to this being a great experience.

We love living at the Avenel for its modern kitchen, the amazing loft and patio! The amenities (gym, pool, playground, dog park & clubhouse) are very well taken care of and really high end. This is an amazing, safe community to life in- that is in a wonderful location! I would recommend the Avenel to anyone!!

Good thing is that the community is quite, the staff host parties and free food sometimes. The maintenance are quite responsive. They have free grill tools. Of course, you pay all for that. The price is expensive, over 2000 dollars/ month.
Bad things is the Air conditioner is so weak, especially in the winter and live in the third floor with high ceiling.
The trash dumpsters are too far away. it is horrible to drag big chunk of trash all the way to the very corner of the community.
The ants are there from spring to summer to the fall.. Then next year they show up again in earlier spring.. They

I stayed at the Avenel for about 10 months while I found a place to live in the area. I lived in the main building (1100) in a very nice 2 bedroom apt. The management was friendly and helpful. I had virtually no problems and felt very safe. I enjoyed the work out room and pool. Apartments and grounds are nicely maintained. My only criticism is that I couldn't get into the area where the coffee machine was until after 8:30 most weekdays and later on weekends. Small issue compared to the lovely units. I would highly recommend.

I lived in Avenel at Montgomery Apartments for over 4 years. The rent was high (I paid around $2,000 per month) but it was the best place to live in the area. This was so, until the new owner and new management came in around 2014. All service went south. The people at the office made you know that they were the owners and you were living in their property, although you are paying one of the highest rent in the area. The problem started in October 2014. “MICE” and lots of it. I lived on the 3rd floor. I made the complaint to the management office and their response was that the "MICE problems
